Hello, everyone! Many of you have been buying my potions to help you
gain ranks, but be aware of the following recent alteration to my brews:

MONSTER TURNING: Dispelled by creatures bearing rare or unique items.

PROTECTION CREATURE: Dispelled by creatures bearing rare or unique items.

TRAVELERS HEALING: Healing rate slowed, and can no longer be stacked.

When I first designed the potions, they were to help people level when there weren't any clerics available to help. I'd even beefed up travelers healing recently to make them more popular. Instead, people started to use the potions to whore mobs for eq (i.e. Winter, Xanthak, the Ford mobs, etc), so now they're not suitable for eq mongering any more. If you want to kill mobs for rare eq, use purples or grab a sancer, the same way you did before I introduced those potions. The potions were intended solely to help you level.

As for travelers healing potions: originally they healed 1 time (with tick-long cooldown), then they healed 3 times (with no cooldown). Now they heal 3 times with no cooldown still, but healing length is dragged out longer and healing amount is randomized. Average healing amount is right between the original healing amount and the previous healing amount. They're supposed to help you "regen" between mobs faster, not to make you virtually invincible so long as you keep sucking them down. The curing power on those potions used to be way more than even clerics could manage, especially at lower levels and considering how much mana it takes for clerics to heal. Now, a good cleric is still better than the healing potions, but those potions are still much more powerful than when they were originally introduced.

Yeah but protection creature is a necromancer spell so they get fucked too.
