Items in sacks did not rotdeath when the guy holding them is killed. This was an error. It is particularly troubling with wild items since those guys are a bit stronger than other gambled items of the same level and thus supposed to rot. A problem like this can help nudge chaotic toward over-representation (especially the case with those sweet 10k wild weapons never rotting..).
On next reboot the items in sacks should correctly rot.
Since the change impacts necro souls it was decided that these would only rot on pvp death. |

Keepers get nuked from this. Could be intended, but they're already dependent enough on money as it is. 70-80k needed just to recover weapons/cabal supplies from one death. If spell saves equipment (the main staple from armor gambles) in their sack goes too, that's another 80k+ (if lucky) just to gain decent ones again (and we're not talking about stat benefit items, which are all the more rare).
Kinda seems that after a death it'll take 160-200k to get back to normal due to current Keeper equipment dependencies. |

EDIT: Or does it really only pertain to wild items and not necessarily rot death ones? |
