[219] CRE [KNIGHT] Resatimm: Decrees of the Tyrant Executor
Sat Jul 31 04:49:50 2010
To: ALL
All will forthwith and completely disregard any edict, decree, order,
decision given by the Former Executor of Valour Jerol. No Mortal may
overstep the bounds of their calling with such flagrance without reprisal
from the real IMMORTALS of the land. We will revert to HELP FILES with
regard to any subjects ever listed and dealt with by this TYRANT. Jerol,
you were given time to mend your ways. You are a big boy, Executor of
Valour, Leader of the Knights. We expect you to learn as you grow and
figure things out for yourself. There are no warnings. There is no trial.
There is no parole.
Heralds, you will cease working this into the Theran Mystique.
Future Executors: You will NOT over step your bounds and contravene the
laws of the land like a Dictator.
Knights of Valour: Forget the name JEROL
Nobles: Marry whatever Shadowspawn you wish.

good marrying evil should atleast result in an OUTCAST flag to the good. it's fine and dandy for people to have relationships, but according to the lightwalker ways, especially being a chaotic, they should not having that kind of *relationship* with an evil, according to their helpfile they should be smiting them down in the name of the light, not laying them down in a red of roses for a night by the fireplace if ya know what i mean. |

I could see Nobles pardoning their anathema spouses repeatedly being a problem, thus causing more chaos for the Knights, but other than that no big deal. |

in real marriage, you denounce yourself (in a sense) from everything else and your *NEW* family becomes you, your spouse and God. so at this point, if a christian decides to marry a jew, then the christian must denounce their god and become that of jewish religion. I don't see how this is NOT applicable in the game, since either the good or evil will need to denounce themselves and their God and serve under their spouse's God. So if a good renouncing their God for the love of their evil hoochie, I'm pretty sure that God is gonna be like "wtf you traitor" and outcast them.
then we need to think about the aspect of opposite alignments protecting each other.
Good: "oh you attack my wife"
attacker: "but she's evil, why should you care? why would an evil be protecting a good?"
good: "because me love her long time" - LAMEST ROLEPLAYING EXCUSE
attacker: "that's dumb, i'm gonna kill her anyways"
*proceed to kill and five minutes pass and then a stream of tells come in from neutrals and goods saying "when you get my pk im gonna pwn you" ---how the fuck is that in agreement with their roleplay? |

That is just one example or marriage.
A couple could be of different dominations/religions, etc. when they get married, each of them still keeps their own belief. Its "love" that keeps them together, despite their difference in faith. Or, both man and wife might agree that their love is more important than anything else, and they both denounce their faiths for the sake of the marriage.
overall outcome who knows, but its just the idea. |

why dont we just outcast both good and evil parties involved and be done with it.
I can see good and neut together, neut and evil together but not good and evil together without some kind of outcome and outcasting is a really simple thing to do. |

Holy hell, I said dont read too much into the last line. I specifically put that in there on purpose to BE inflammatory, but it was supposed to inflame the Tyrant, not the people. |

I know there is probably a lot of underlying things that occured leading to Jerol being dethroned, but not being privy to that info, I support Jerol's beliefs and actions.
Seems to me that the whines of 'tyranny' come from the lightwalker nobles that wrongfully hooked up with evil and found out they couldn't have the best of both worlds.
I salute Jerol for standing up for what was right. |

When a PLAYER starts dictating RULES for cabals and coteries to follow, and using his powers of uninduct, exile, etc, etc, as punishment... rules that have no basis in fact, or are completely in disregard to established help files... it had nothing to do with "marrying" between alignments. It had everything to do with abuse of powers, among other things. |
