Grandeur is now activated with spellcasts. You use different schools of magic to build it, for up to 3 stacks. This adds hitroll and affbreak. You can cast almost any illusionist spell to get a stack. The max affbreak is slightly below what you can get with good rare gear, but you'll probably be trying to get mental break from that anyway.
I've made it possible to keep the stacks max by just using any spells. Instead of forcing a continuous rotation to stay maxed, you can keep it going with just anything, e.g. color spray. Going that way makes sense for AR because it means the illusionist really wants the group to keep the tempo going as he moves between mobs, so as not to lose these, as well as to enable him to resort to cheap spells to keep grandeur rolling (instead of simply doing nothing and being useless). It does not require constant casting to keep it up.

Syntax: AUTOMATIC
The grandeur skill is a passive ability which allows the illusionist to build
a facade of awe and splendor. Through use of spells from each school of
trickery (psionics, phantasms, and illumination), the illusionist may further
enhance their accuracy and spell damage. Each school provides an individual
opportunity for enhancement, and the illusionist need only attempt one spell
from each.
Certain abilities may help the illusionist to grow in grandeur. For instance,
when the psionic dragon breathes successfully, the illusionist will gain in
majesty.
