There is no point worrying about having an account. It doesn't add anything we can't already easily find, due to IP address activity. I think everybody knows that. What having an account does is give you some perks around it, so it isn't just something that would only be held against you. |

I`ve been avoiding the forum this past week, embarrassed to show my face around here. I was a bit drunk and upset about the murder of Cecil the Lion when I posted, but I guess what I wrote didn`t come across as that stupid. Just glad I didn`t go on a rant.
Anyway, I can`t believe all the many great comments by so many people. I agree that people shouldn`t have to jump through hoops to use this feature if it is implemented. I like the idea of dating the posts, but I didn`t see a calendar on the website help section to tell what month Malice is; maybe there is a calendar help in-game or maybe the posts just autodelete after so many months on the board. I don`t see a problem that a post on the North Square board gets posted to all the town boards. My only other comment is that I don`t know the amount of work to implement this idea. A board would be great for the average player to relay in-game general communications, but I hope that it wouldn`t just be a novelty thing that dies off after the work is put into implementing it. I don`t think the board would be used that much (maybe in spurts), but I know over the years, I would have loved to make some posts to help with my character`s story, and it would be used more than it is currently.
Note to self: Remember there is a drunk thread. |
