I don't think entangling charmies was intended and can be considered a bug. We can certainly follow-up with allowing it to entangle charmies instead of the aerial mechanic.

I don't want to throw out the mechanic totally if we can avoid it, the tiny/small/medium/large is pretty good. I put forth the idea of getting rid of high tripwire before and was convinced this was cool because it's helping to make small characters and charmies feel small and large characters and charmies feel large.

Do we just not have enough various sizes of duplicates? We might need to make sure there is a variety to choose from for all the alignments and sizes. We could also add a slot or two for remembered duplicates so the illusionist can have a couple small and a couple flying ones on hand.

We have too many duplicates that are humanoid and we could really use like some snakes and birds and cool shit.

We could also consider adding the ability to craft a book in your lair that teaches you that kind of duplicate.

I had a really long response to the duplicate question but started another thread on it and don't want to have two discussion over the ancillary idea going on in different places.

But to respond directly to Dav's concern about an illu/necro losing their entire army because they would have to blow 8k-10k gold on fly scrolls and the lag that comes with reciting that many scrolls.

What if there were some staves that granted group flight? Like a 5k stave of level 10/15//20 flight.
