I know that werebeast rangers get 100% for call animal because of their affinity to the wild, so doesnt it make sense for werebeast to be able to use wild shape easier as well? Or perhaps maybe they should be able to transform with a shorter penalty since they can already transform or possess animal bodies? |

I can't really see what being werebeast has to do with possessing animal bodies, can you please explain your thought process there a little more? |

I guess I meant that since they transform, theyre more used to being in unfamiliar unhuman shapes. |

Mr.Forgotten, I think the werebeast transform has more depth than you are giving it credit for. The werebeast transformation comes out in times of danger. Its the same as having a split personality. The werebeast takes full control to get the vulnerable human out of the situation. Its kind of who they are, and natural to them. When it happens, the human form literally is out of the picture. Werebeasts should be roleplaying very differently when they are in the transformed state, as well -potentially not even remember what they did while they were a were-animal. That doesnt really mean it gets easier to possess a toad, if anything, it may mean they would have more trouble, because the beast might think that somethings going on and come out to do battle. |

if you possess the creature why do you have to shapeshift into it

Syntax: chant 'wild shape' <target>
The wild shape spell allows the druid to shapeshift to match the appearance
of one of Serin's beasts, birds, reptiles, or aquatics. In the process of
wild shape, the druid must literally possess the creature involved in the
spell. Upon reverting to their original form (with the revert command), the
creature will then return to the plane of Serin. Due to the nature of the
magic, wild shape cannot be chanted upon intelligent bipedal creatures,
charmed creatures such as pets, or PC's. |
