Purple potions
flying potions
flying scrolls
purple pills
gyvel potions
white herbs
black herbs
mal save gear
aff save gear
mental save gear
um...things to alleviate poison or strength drains
segment weapon
blade weapon
shaft weapon
vuln weapons
recall potions almost forgot about these

Just off the top of my head, it's hard to quickly supply and engage/skirmish whatever.

sssssh. Let's all just agree it's insanely hard to think about this things while skirmishing. I know they're key things to the game, but it's well 'complicated'

Also I've seen Vanisse eat armor.

black/white herbs are planted to becomea duplicate of gyvel/purple potion. Multiple sources of the same consumable spell don't really apply to your point here. Just be glad you don't have to also hoard jhyfrdow scrolls on top of all that.

Yeah ok acknowledged. I was working on druid brews anyway. I can probably add a brew potion that does sanc fly cure blind and teleport

I recall, making the rounds to, the scroll/clear potion/purple potion/dust/roots. Used to need so much of that stuff.

There is tons that is being missed too, it really depends on what you play, I collect energy scrolls on anything that can recite. all of the different detect invis items, all the different sanc pots, having herbs. having the cure staves... I think I am missing some havent played a class that needed heavy supplies in a while. I remember having a stupid fucking amount of shit on my invoker though. also pink potions for cure curse.

I usually just get a helm of spell turning and a warshield of invulnerability and call it a day, I think on my invoker all I had were scrolls of fly and some gyvels

divsky I will let you know I at least read what you said and briefly entertained the idea and I don't feel that's really necessary at this point. Catching people with sanc down or mistiming sanc is how a lot of pk'ing gets done, and a lot of value is added to classes that have their own long-duration sanc and it adds depth to combat (the dispel magic wars of priests for instance). This spell definitely contributes positively overall.

Another idea is we could add a flask/bottle to the game, and pour like potions in it, so that we can just refill the bottle with the pour command instead of needing to carry around loads of tiny potions. Then evaporation would be much less an issue and less items to manage. We could make a belt to keep all 5 of your flasks in. blind recall sanc ,detect invis etc.

Its added. the flask is at echuir.

Downside is you kinda cant locate purples anymore if they use flasks. Lets watch and see if that is detrimental.

So you opted to create just one type of flask, instead of different flasks to hold different types of potions? (ie:purple flask, etc...)
Sounds like one flask that can be poured into, and then user can rename the item to assist with distinguishing what is what.

Any word on how many potions will fit in the flask at this point? BTW, I liked this idea as soon as I heard it. I'll be interested to hear how it works out in practice.
