Allow them to be deployed in...guildhalls. Doesn't it make sense to be able to practice in your own guild? |

its more fun to have them out in the open, because then if people sit there and don't pay attention they get punished by PK range |

I'd be open to adding them to the Seringale Training Hall if we do it anywhere in town. I don't particularly like the idea of getting to train on a dummy while camping guildhall. |

we can do it in lairs but we need to figure out a way to allow players to break into lairs besides having a thief pick the lock. It has to be not too easy but not too hard either, like fighting the guild guard is |

Wouldn't putting it in the guildhall be the same, then? |

In my opinion, you shouldn't be able to find a 'safe place' to train post level 10. As in, needing a spell/skill or fighting a guard to be able to find and attack the person that might be afk training.
I do get that the general idea of a guild hall would be a place to train your skills though. However, it's more of a place to get your basic training while you master your abilities on your own in this wild and crazy world. |

I like the idea of a place to set up a dummy in the guildhall for the reasons mentioned and because we generally need more places.
Even with a small player base the dummy has been in use and I only know where 2 of the 3 places you can drop a dummy actually are.
As mentioned for pk I have avoided attacking people on the dummy like it was a protected place and have in return been murdered while training. |

help scarecrow
Code: |
'SCARECROWS'
Scarecrows are training dummies available for purchase from the Juggernaut
at the arena in Seringale. Once purchased, these dummies can then be
dropped in select locations for you to train your ABILITIES against.
The scarecrow will crumble after about an hour.
The Juggernaut does not accept gold in return for the scarecrows. Instead,
Warlord Medals are needed to make these purchases. These are earned in
two ways:
1) Being a member of the Warlord Cabal and using your CABAL CURRENCY
2) Gaining OVERLORD'S FAVOR by killing one of Serin's Overlords
Locations where the scarecrow can be dropped are:
* the hobgoblin king's throne room in Gnome Village
* the pigeon coop in Gwidry
* the practice hall in New Ofcol
* the guild yard in Forest of Illusion |

Hey, got your solution for the hovel break into problem based on your post above -
Instead of a door, a guardian of some kind. Could go a lot of routes, and if you're carrying the wardstone, the guardian allows you to enter.
The routes you could go:
Golems of various levels
Guardians you could get awarded or able to purchase via guild (could fight with said guild abilities)
Guardians you could get awarded or again buy based on cabal (maybe more RP)
Maybe a way to use a pet you've leveled up, gives putting in effort to other possible creative pet options, especially if in guardian mode, could use special abilities (I'm looking at you cactus, and maybe it could bash with its singers or could spray them to all attacking.
Etc, etc
Thoughts? Did I solve it? |
