I greet you, children of the Overlord. It is time once again to marvel
at your uniqueness, for the Stewards who serve the Overlord's will have
uncovered the latent abilities long bestowed by the Overlord himself upon
some among you, recovering them in the form of RACIAL LEGACIES. The
enhanced ones among you are avian warriors (HELP BREAKNECK SWERVE, HELP
DIVE CHARGE), elf warriors (HELP DANCE OF SILVER LEAVES, HELP SPELLBANE),
and fire giant berserkers (HELP FLAMEBEARING, HELP UNQUENCHED FURY).

Let none doubt the mercy of the Overlord in creating you as you are, and
let none doubt the wisdom of his Stewards in unlocking your potential.

'BREAKNECK SWERVE'
Syntax: AUTOMATIC

In especially desperate fights, avian warriors who are particularly willful
and strong-minded may push themselves far enough to employ the risky
Breakneck Swerve legacy. This releases an additional burst of adrenaline
to their wings, allowing the avian warrior to perform a sudden and last-ditch
aerial maneuver to DODGE an attack that they otherwise would not have been
able to DODGE. This improvement is comparable to that of a rogue's ability
to COUNTERBALANCE. Because of the legacy's dangerous and physically taxing
nature, avian warriors will only attempt this maneuver when facing an
opponent more powerful in levels than themselves, and the opening to do
so is only available while combat style superiority is maintained.

Avian warriors may only perform this legacy while flying.

Intelligence and wisdom improve the likelihood of performing Breakneck Swerve.

'DIVE CHARGE'
Syntax: charge <target>

Equally at ease while fighting airborne or upon the ground, avian warriors can
augment their combat repertoire by performing charge attacks while flying.
This dive charge cannot be attempted against an airborne target. A successful
dive charge inflicts more damage than a normal ground-based charge. Furthermore,
it is especially effective against mounted opponents, who may be stunned from
being rammed off of their mounts and into the ground. More learned and cunning
avian warriors are better able to utilize the advantages of charging an
opponent from above to maximize its effectiveness.

Avian warriors may only perform this legacy while flying.

Intelligence and wisdom improve the extra damage inflicted by Dive Charge.

'DANCE OF SILVER LEAVES'
Syntax: AUTOMATIC

Not only do warriors of elven heritage favor the use of swords
(HELP FAVOURED WEAPON), but elven swordsmenship also emphasizes the
the coordinated use of all bladed weapons, swords and daggers alike.
Particularly skilled and quick-thinking elven warriors can even perform
dditional attacks while wielding two bladed weapons if they also achieve
combat style superiority. Among the elves, this technique is known as the
Dance of Silver Leaves. When performed by an elven warrior of sufficient
mental prowess, the Dance is equal in effectiveness to the effects of a
HASTE spell cast at the wielder's level, but with none of HASTE's
regenerative penalties. No additional attacks are made with this legacy
if the wielder is already affected by either HASTE or SLOW.

The Dance of Silver Leaves legacy also confers to elven warriors a
reduction in the weapon weight difference required to dual wield, but
only for bladed weapons. This ability improves as the wielder grows
more powerful. At their pinnacle, elven warriors may dual wield two
bladed weapons of identical weight.

Intelligence and wisdom improves the rate of additional attacks from
Dance of Silver Leaves.

'SPELLBANE'
Syntax: AUTOMATIC

Legend has it that the elven stronghold of Greginsham was attacked many times
in its long history before its final destruction during the Great War. For
one such attack led by a dreadful but unnamed lich-lord, tales tell of the
archmage Faedran turning the tide of battle by empowering the city's warriors
to resist the terrible magicks of the overpowering attackers. Though he
himself ultimately perished from his effort in saving Greginsham, Faedran's
sacrifice has lived on as the Spellbane legacy. Warriors of elven heritage
may use this legacy to attempt to completely reverse targeted spells, thereby
inflicting damage upon the caster instead. Because of the nature of Faedran's
original sacrifice, however, the Spellbane legacy is only effective against
spells cast by those of higher level than the defender.

A spellcaster's SAVEBREAK in the type of spell being cast can lower or even
completely nullify the effectiveness of Spellbane.

Intelligence and wisdom increases the chances of a spell reversal from Spellbane.

'FLAMEBEARING'
Syntax: AUTOMATIC (when raged)

Forged by the heat of volcanos, a fire giant berserker's affinity for
fire is augmented by his rage such that he can actually manifest
physical flames when (im)properly provoked while raged. Those on the
receiving side of these flames were foolish enough to strike an
enraged fire giant berserker with an ice-inflicting weapon. The
flames emitted by a fire giant berserker in this manner will continue
to grow in power as he climbs in levels, and may eventually become
potent enough to sizzle and destroy an opponent's ice weapon outright.

This legacy has no effect against ice-based projectiles (such as
arrows) or spells. Non-ice melee weapons also cause no additional effects.

Constitution improves the intensity of flames from Flamebearing.

'UNQUENCHED FURY'
Syntax: AUTOMATIC (when raged)

The rage that engulfs fire giant berserker burns hotter against more
powerful foes, and continues to seethe even after the body has been
brought to the brink of death itself. Thus, the Unquenched Fury legacy
allows a fire giant berserker to continue fighting against an overmatched
foe even after he has no more health to lose. How much further the fire
giant berserker can continue to fight in this state depends upon how many
opponents are currently attacking him, how much higher in levels those
opponents are, and how hearty of constitution his body possesses.

Constitution improves the extended fighting length of Unquenched Fury.

Typo: additional is missing the "a"

Dive Charge beign affective against mounted opponants is kinda cool and makes sense- but it only works against Knights, who, rarely use their mounts anyway.

I really like the Fire Giant Legacies- although I'm finding it difficult to picture the last one.

FLAMEBEARING -

Rigwarl yells 'Help! I am being attacked by Amirlith!'
Amirlith's freezing bite decimates Rigwarl!
Rigwarl's flames wounds Amirlith.
A Frostbrand Sword sizzles and is consumed by the flames!

UNQUENCHED FURY-

Rigwarl gasps for air as he snaps out of his insanity.
Rigwarl suddenly clutches his wounds and slumps to the ground, unconscious.
Rigwarl is stunned, but will probably recover.
You hear a wild boar's death cry.
A wild boar stops following you.
Rigwarl sacrifices the corpse of a wild boar to The Overlord.
Rigwarl's excruciating blow MANGLES Amirlith!
Rigwarl's rampage blow misses Ghilub.
Dalinar yells 'Help! Rigwarl is on the rampage!'
Rigwarl's titanic blow *** DEMOLISHES *** Dalinar!
Rigwarl's punishing blow decimates Ghorvak!
Rigwarl is in awful condition.

I didn't say that.

Combat Module C is probably going to get done sometime after Combat Module B but before Combat Module D.
