What about instead of doing it in 30 second chunks, regen happens quicker (every 5 seconds?) with rest giving a linear increase to the rate of regen and sleeping gives an exponential increase. Biggest benefit is that the time needed to get back to 100% from 0% can be controlled. Some randomness will have to be introduced or it gets too predictable. Also, since adrenaline types exist already, distinguishing regen for pvp and pve is trivial to implement if necessary. |

Also, what happens if groupmate accidentally attacks another groupmate while ranking. I'm sure we've all had berserker in the group go smash happy with wild smash and been unable to use restoration potions as a result of this. We wouldn't want to be completely unable to regen thanks to that asshole. |
