We have recently added the following thief skills:
Ambush: This is a strong attack with a wind-up, that deals a heavy amount of
damage. The difference between this and backstab is mainly that it isn't
tied to current hp, and that the opponent obviously has time to move out of
the way.
Hook shot: This is a bow-only skill that allows thieves on the Seringale
roads to ascend quickly to the rooftops of Seringale. Other classes can
get there via hatches in some rooms. Note that using the hatches is a bit
slower than usual movement.
Cheap shot: This is a skill that takes advantage of the opponent changing
his clothing in mid-combat to land some free swipes. It will also hit
mages that fail concentration.
Drug other: This is a PK-only skill that can only be used on a sleeping
opponent. There's a wide range of possible effects, but only one may be
active at a given time. Look out for this.
These four skills are teasers for the paths that thieves will take later
on when we offer customization: The lurker, who is a master assassin, the pickpocket
who has the best escapes, the brigand who is a combat-focused and finally
the smuggler, specializing in contraband and shady dealings. You can
hopefully see the need to branch because there are many skills we have
been wanting to create, but throwing them all onto the basic "thief" class
will be too much. We passed that point, but I'll take advantage of the
current state of adrenaline to give you these a little early.

At first I thought "Jeez, thieves are gonna be OP", but after you guys said it was going to be specialized, nvm, I like it.
One questions. Do mages get hit every time they lose concentration while in combat with a thief? |

They should be yes.
edit: Wanted to add that delirium causes concentration loss, and there are ways for a thief to cause it. |

Instead of plant, to tumble off of your idea a little. When you steal something it still shows in the players inventory, but once they try to use it, they get a message that says: Oh my gosh! Your ______ has been stolen!
That way if you steal something then you can give it back to them after you envenom it.
Or to jump around this entirely, just don't allow a person to view their inventory or eq while they are asleep. |

Or hamstring, lets us make the target start limping, like caltraps, but can't do it while taking hits, so you have to start with it or have someone else take the hits. |
