    2. I didn't see a single charge, last I checked monks don't get counter. reckoning against someone with dodge imho is not worth the lag. you barely move when you heal. I am very very surprised that you won to be honest. Also just pointing out that the where $$ although a decent idea when you are in an arena fighting, I really hope that is the only time that you do that. that kind of tunnel vision is a good way to walk into a gang bang
    3. nvm im retarded, monks do have counter lol, so charge is out, but still, this fight could have turned on you pretty quickly
    4. Paladins can only charge with a polearm, which I wasn't carrying. It is also not that useful against non-spellcasters or people who aren't flying, when you compare it to the amount it lags the paladin. Running further away to heal is a good point, thanks.
    5. Need to improve your AC a bit more. Always a risk when you're fighting/dueling a neutral as a paladin.
    6. I'd need to sacrifice damroll for that....is it worth it?
    7. Definitely. No idea what EQ your char has currently, but I can tell that in it's current state that's where you need to begin. AC is a paladin's lifeblood. In the end you should have higher hitroll, AC and more or less the same Damroll.

  2. Fighting against a monk is completely different and you won't get the hang of it unless you fight them a bunch to see what weapon combination works the best. I wouldn't take anyones criticisms to heart because this wasn't a "real" fight.

    I believe with divine sac you can get 10 damage right and you only got 6, been a very very long time I had a paladin. Also you didn't use heroism which is more damage right?

    You did eat a lot of murders which is never good and I do agree with charge once the monk is hurt enough since you can't counter after quite a few wounds, but you can't spam charge like you can murder since you will lag yourself. Also fleeing when dirted to only be attacked two rooms later, you might as well sat in the fight waited it out and used damage or healing spells. You probably need to increase your hand to hand percentage because you were getting hit with everything and if you have increase your hitroll. A win is a win nice fight
    1. Divine sac can give up to 10 damroll. I purposefully chose 6 so I had enough mana for healing. In the end I had 40% or so mana left so ya next time I'll try the full deal.

      If by heroism you mean Errantry, that is just frenzy plus less move usage. Frenzy kills your ac, and I was already mounted, so decided not to use it. Good point about fleeing when dirted. Hand to hand is mastered. Thank you for the feedback, this is good.
    2. Pretty much ignore the others, this is accurate... Another note, Paladins are terrible against neutral classes. Really really bad. Every bonus they get is against evils...You are just a warrior with less attacks/dirt/trip/bash/blind fighting/etc... You are stuck hoping you simply outdamage them, or out heal them, and let's face it, you're fighting a monk.
    3. Went through it again since i'm bored. Never try to flee and immediately cure serious either. Run around a bit then throw a few cures out, and if it's not enough, run more and throw more out.
