Combat style: Two-handed
Active: Uncanniness of the snake

The snake style symbolizes the calm and quickness of the snake. While in this
style, the monk employs coiling motions and whipping toe kicks, and avoids
attacking with the traditional fist.

While in snake style, a monk may attempt to strike chakra points - vital regions
of the opponents physical body. In addition, their attacks are more difficult
to dodge, and they grapple better. Finally, the calmness of the snake's mind
allows them to generate chii more quickly. Activating this style temporarily
increases the chance of hitting a chakra point, and also causes their attacks
to deal poison damage, as a cobra would striking his prey.

so why is a defensive style working better against dual wield that doens't make sense the whole mechanis of this game are ruined people spend 9+ years learning how to play this and all of a sudden everything they learned is out the window.

    1. It's simple, skirmish more, you are limited to one area so that sucks for you. Shadows are strong yes but honestly a pissed off fire giant zerker will dunk them. You need to skirmish go places he can't track you and heal then come back when you are ready and fight, go behind a locked door with a misty potion... Do something.. He is obviously faster than you.. Also when your chii is max hit the healing it happens instantly. Hang in there you are doing a good job! Level up to 50 and see the difference.

For the warrior that has to chase into the room where the monk is, while the monk is channeling healing, isn't it abit unfair that spamming murder commands does not interrupt the healing channel. There is no way that the warrior can initiate in this case since the warrior is always playing the chasing game in such a matchup.
