Some very comfortable looking sofas have been placed around the room.
A makeshift stage has been set up for the performing mice.
Vikka, the serving girl of the tavern, stands waiting for a customer.
A small deaf mouse wields Serin's tiniest violin.
Ulsa flies in.

You say 'Welcome to the Mocker's Tavern.'

You smile happily.

Ulsa smiles happily.

You give a mug of ale to Ulsa.

Ulsa says 'A lovely place I must say.'

Ulsa says 'No thank you.'

Ulsa gives you a mug of ale.

You nod.

You say 'It's alright. And I agree.'

Ulsa says 'I do not drink.'

Ulsa says 'Alcohol, that is.'

You say 'That's fine. It's not for everyone.'

The town clock tolls twelve times as noon approaches.

You say 'But I'd hoped to broach the purpose of the meeting about now.'

Vikka the serving girl walks west.

You say 'Can't force anything, so the consent is on you.'

[Exits: south west up]
Some very comfortable looking sofas have been placed around the room.
A makeshift stage has been set up for the performing mice.
(Charmed) A venomous king cobra is here, ready to strike.
Ulsa the Crime Boss is here.
A small deaf mouse wields Serin's tiniest violin.

Ulsa says 'What do you imply?'

Ulsa puts The Serin Mystique, Volume 12, Issue 2 in a Big Ol'Pack Sack.

You say 'Discussion about your mention of being predisposed arbitrarily to the path you sounded unwilling to oblige whole-heartedly.'

You say 'Birth from your parents.'

Ulsa says 'Oh, yes..'

You say 'And whatever else you wanted to bring up, of course.'

You say 'There are no stringent guidelines here.'

You sit on some comfortable looking sofas.

Ulsa says 'I was raised of dirt poor parents, filthy thieves.'

Ulsa's hunger scratches her.

Ulsa swoops down and lands upon the ground.

You stand up.

A plate of liver and onions suddenly appears.

Ulsa crosses her legs.

A magic mushroom suddenly appears.

Ulsa sits down and rests.

Ulsa gets a plate of liver and onions.

Ulsa eats a plate of liver and onions.

You sit down.

You stand up.

You sit on some comfortable looking sofas.

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

Vikka the serving girl walks in.

Vikka the serving girl walks west.

You say 'Take your time recounting. I'm in no rush.'

Ulsa says 'Though I consider myself of royalty, a princess you might say.'

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at you.

You raise an eyebrow at the notion.

Fluttery of the wings arouse tiny vibrant orange hairs coating her frame.
Two slanted orbs shadowed by black lashes are planted on each side of her
ellipse-shaped head. An ivory coloured bill cracked with age extends from
her face. A pair of hallowed holes rest just above an elongated neck
connecting to a petite body. Brightly painted feathers surround a barely
visible breast lacking any form of protection.
She has begun to do some traveling.
Ulsa is in excellent condition.

Ulsa is using:
<Stuff>

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at Ulsa.

Ulsa says 'I do enjoy an array of armorments which I rightfully deserve.'

Eliza the venomous king cobra slithers around on the ground.

Ulsa drinks water from a silver chalice ornamented with pearls.

Cyprian scratches his chin thoughtfully at the notion.

You are thirsty.

You say 'Well, you conduct yourself as royalty might be imagined to.'

Ulsa says 'Oh, you do not have to agree with the statement.'

You are thirsty.

Ulsa says 'Behind this feathered breast, there is a beating heart.'

You are thirsty.
The town clock tolls twelve times as midnight arrives.

You drink water from a barrel.

Ulsa says 'Now, I must say, I do not have any siblings.'

Cyprian continues to listen intently.

Ulsa says 'Spoiled? Very much so.'

Ulsa says 'But by my birth parents, hardly.'

Ulsa says 'They were nothing but a flock of disease.'

You say 'Your siblings?'

Ulsa says 'I'm everything and more any man could ever dream of.'

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

Ulsa says 'I was once a young hatchling, and the only one at that.'

Ulsa says 'Imagine a bright blue egg, slightly trembling, holding life inside of it.'

Cyprian's eyes move to a peripheral, imagining it.

The town clock tolls once as the day begins.

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

Cyprian's eyes return toward you.

Ulsa says 'My mother, if one would call her that, sat upon me for more moons than called for.'

You say 'Attentive and lovingly?'

Ulsa lets out a hearty laugh.

Ulsa says 'Hardly.'

You frown disapprovingly.
Ulsa says 'An attempted murderer..'

Cyprian shuts his eyes briefly, shaking his head to himself.

Ulsa says 'That bitch sat on me for longer than any mother should.'
Vikka the serving girl walks in.

You say 'You had to rend her off of you, didn't you.'

You peer intently at Ulsa.

Eliza the venomous king cobra slithers around on the ground.

Ulsa says 'I had to peck my way out of that egg.'

Vikka the serving girl walks south.

Ulsa says 'I assume I was nothing more than some nutrients to her own cause.'

Cyprian leans forward, elbows rested on either knee and a hand folded into the other.

The town clock tolls twelve times as noon approaches.

Vikka the serving girl walks in.

Cyprian stares blankly, contemplating the heartless implication.

You say 'What was that cause. Do you know?'

You are thirsty.

You drink water from a barrel.

Ulsa says 'Power I assume.'

You say 'Birthing disposable pawns.'

Ulsa says 'My life force was to become her strength.'

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

Vikka the serving girl walks south.

Ulsa says 'But as you can see, here I sit.'

Cyprian mutters under his breath "..just like a necromancer."

Cyprian snaps out of thought, returning his attention to you.

Ulsa says 'That there should tell anyone of the value I hold.'

You say 'It does carry a weight that speaks volumes all its own. A weight not provided by words alone.'

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

You say 'Willful. Undaunted by badly dealt hands.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'So your siblings..you mean to say they were born frail.'

You say 'While you were born vibrant.'

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

Ulsa says 'There was no tremble or movement to their egg.'

Cyprian sits up and leans back into the sofa.

You are hungry.

You say 'Where does royalty come in?'

You are hungry.

You say 'Your parents were blue-bloods of your race?'

You stand up.

A bowl of oatmeal suddenly appears.

You get a bowl of oatmeal.

You eat a bowl of oatmeal.

You sit on some comfortable looking sofas.

Ulsa says 'Riches, I'm accustomed to being paid for my time.'

Ulsa says 'And..services.'

You say '...'services?''

Ulsa nods in enthusiastic agreement with you.

You say 'That could be taken two different ways.'

You say 'Assassinations..and something else.'

The town clock tolls twelve times as midnight arrives.

Vikka the serving girl walks in.

You say 'Which is it?'

Ulsa says 'Neither.'

Ulsa says 'My words are my services.'

You say 'Glad to be reminded how little I know.'

You say 'Your words?'

You raise an eyebrow at the notion.

You say 'In what manner?'

You say 'Counsel?'

Ulsa agrees absolutely.

You say 'To whom, if you don't mind me asking.'

Ulsa says 'Any fool enough to pay out gold coin.'

Cyprian blinks.

You say 'You'd count people that value what you might have to say as fools?'

You say 'Don't you believe you have anything substantial to advise?'

Vikka the serving girl walks west.

Ulsa says 'I can lead a beggar into thinking they are rich.'

Ulsa's hunger grazes her.

You stand up.

A stack of pancakes suddenly appears.

Ulsa gets a stack of pancakes.

Ulsa eats a stack of pancakes.

You don't see that here.

You sit on some comfortable looking sofas.

You say 'And therein lies my caution toward you.'

You are thirsty.
The town clock tolls once as the day begins.

You drink water from a barrel.

Ulsa says 'You are afraid?'

You shake your head.

Ulsa says 'Weary?'

You say 'Sober.'

You say 'Attentive.'

You say 'Careful.'

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at someone.

You say 'One can be cautious, and not be driven by fear.'

You say 'Rather, by discretion.'

You say 'Your tongue has silver potential..'

You say '..yet..'

You say 'And correct me honestly here and now if I'm wrong.'

You say 'But didn't you convey an amount of regret over your path's predisposition?'

Ulsa says 'Of what choice was it of mine?'

You say 'If that's your attitude toward it, it tells me you would've preferred a choice.'

You say 'And if you'd have preferred a choice, there's a sliver of a chance that maybe you may not continue this route.'

Ulsa says 'Choices make life difficult.'

You agree absolutely.

You say 'They do. But that's what builds weaklings into formidable wrestlers with chance.'

The town clock tolls twelve times as noon approaches.

You say 'You've made many of your own, I'm sure.'

Ulsa says 'I do not see it as good or evil, that makes it too complicated.'

Ulsa says 'If I'm deserving of something, I will see to it that it be mine.'

You say 'And what of the heart you highlighted earlier?'

You say 'Is it a mere obligatory life-sustaining tool?'

You peer intently at Ulsa.

Ulsa shrugs helplessly.

Ulsa says 'That I will let you decide.'

Ulsa drinks water from a silver chalice ornamented with pearls.

You say 'I have. There are two different shades you give off.'

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

You say 'And your path...I'm getting the sense a part of you is expressing wasn't one of them.'

You say 'A choice you made.'

Ulsa shakes her head.

Ulsa says 'We do not choose our fate.'

You say 'Didn't you choose to break the shell from underneath your mother?'

You say 'You could've chosen to obediently die.'

Ulsa says 'That is true.'

You say 'It's true fate exists, and we can only deviate only so far from it..'

You say 'But the right water or drought your heart is everyone's.'

Ulsa says 'Do you think I enjoy being high strung over most citizens?'

You are thirsty.

You say 'Are you high strung?'

You drink water from a barrel.

Ulsa says 'I'm deserving and of royalty is what I am.'

The town clock tolls twelve times as midnight arrives.

You say 'I'm not in disagreement about that.'

You say 'That's outside my scope of judgment.'

Ulsa says 'Would you say it is wrong to have ownership of a slave?'

You say 'Your worth is your own to measure, and only the divines know whether the measure is true or false.'

The goblin extermination enforcer yells 'You will be exterminated!'

You say 'Well, if by slave you mean an unwilling subjugation of someone.'

You say 'Not to do with debt they owe.'

You say 'Yes.'

You say 'It would be wrong.'

You say 'Mercy does have it's place though....but that's a choice given to a potential owner to make.'

Ulsa says 'However, their lust of materialistic things will enslave them on their own.'

Vikka the serving girl walks in.

Cyprian leans rests his head on the back of the sofa.

The town clock tolls once as the day begins.

You say 'It's true. There are masters in this life. Living and inanimate.'

Vikka the serving girl walks west.

You say 'But ultimately you serve one, exclusively.'

You say 'Yes, people can become slaves to whatever their hearts lust for.'

Vikka the serving girl walks in.

You are hungry.

You say 'I was unaware you were speaking about slavery along those lines.'

Ulsa says 'Trickery of the mind is a beautiful thing.'

You are hungry.

Ulsa says 'Why would I pay another to comb these beautiful feathers?'

You say 'I wouldn't call it trickery. I'd call it a lack of perception.'

Ulsa says 'Many would willingly take pride in it for no charge.'

You are hungry.

You say 'You can't blame maggots if you don't bury your dead.'

Cyprian lifts his head from the back of a sofa.

You say 'Take pride in what?'

You say 'Tricking others?'

You are hungry.

You stand up.

You lost your concentration.

A plate of liver and onions suddenly appears.

You get a plate of liver and onions.

You eat a plate of liver and onions.

You sit on some comfortable looking sofas.

Ulsa says 'Allowing others to believe they are more than what they really are.'

The town clock tolls twelve times as noon approaches.

You frown disapprovingly.

Ulsa gets a magic mushroom.

You say 'A pawn has no use if it doesn't believe in itself. What you tell it.'

Ulsa eats a magic mushroom.

You say 'Is that what you're saying?'

You are thirsty.

Ulsa shakes her head.

You drink water from a barrel.

Vikka the serving girl walks south.

You say 'Sometimes hard describes my head.'

You chuckle politely.

Ulsa says 'Perhaps it is trickery.'

Ulsa says 'Oh my at the time.'

You peer intently at Ulsa.

Ulsa says 'I believe it is time for my grooming.'

You say 'Right. It's been a while.'

You stand up.

Ulsa stands up.

Ulsa stretches luxuriously. Kinda makes you want to doesn't it?

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

You say 'There'll be other times to expound on this later.'

Ulsa nods in enthusiastic agreement with you.

Ulsa says 'I must ruffle some feathers for a bit.'

You say 'Do what you must.'

Ulsa nods at you in agreement.

Ulsa waves at you cheerfully.

Ulsa walks south.
