Ulsa tells you 'I have lost well over a hundred thousand in just a few moons.'

You tell Ulsa 'This is harm you risk to yourself, rather than others.'

You tell Ulsa '....over a hundred thousand...'

Ulsa tells you 'That's the problem as I sit here crying, I take it out on myself and try to help others to make myself feel better.'

You tell Ulsa 'Crying. Are you crying?'

The Western Common Room
| You are next to a large fireplace in the common room. This
| is the place where most of the patrons of the inn gather
S-*-F | to rest from their tedious travels. This is also the place
| | | where various artists can perform their trade. You see a
F @-* | few tables around the fireplace and a small open area as
| | | | a stage. You see the common extend to the west and east.
*>*-o | To the south you can just make out the main stage.

[Exits: north east south]
Some very comfortable looking sofas have been placed around the room.
A neat bookcase with a sign reading 'Serin Mystiques: Volume one' rests against a wall.
An untidy bookcase with a sign reading 'Serin Mystiques: Volume two' is propped up against a wall.
A sparkling new bookcase covered in carved portraits rests here containing the Serin Mystiques: Volume 3.

A makeshift stage has been set up for the performing mice.
A small deaf mouse wields Serin's tiniest violin.

Ulsa tells you 'Don't tell anyone please.'

A Cloakroom
+-+-+| Just inside the entryway of the Mockers Tavern, this
|| room is where all of the tavern visitors hang their cloaks
S-+| and overcoats while enjoying the warmth of the cozy tavern
|| fire. The occasional thieving pickpocket can be seen
@-S-+| shuffling through the pockets of loose coats and cloaks,

The town clock tolls once as the evening begins.

You tell Ulsa 'Furthest thought from my mind, really.'

You tell Ulsa 'If anyone ever knows beside me, it won't be because I said anything.'

Outside Mocker's Tavern
+-+-+-+-+| Owned by a cooperative consisting of the Heralds and
| || the Bards' Guild, Mocker's Tavern is by far the most
S-+ F| popular place to be when the sun goes down. There is

+-@-+-F| like flies on a corpse. The tavern, from the outside,

(White Aura) Istina the usher sits here nursing a bottle of wine.

Istina the usher snarks 'Bye, Cyprian. Hope you have a good one.'
The Main Street

Outside the Wall of the Monastery
| You stand in a small clearing outside the west wall of
| a small chapel within a monastery. Birdsong fills the
| air while butterflies yellow and red flutter about happily.
| A tall large oak brings shade further west, but all movement
@-*-*| to the north and south is prevented by a combination

+| is a serenity and a sense of life and peace, hinting that
| it is often used by others as a place of worship or contemplation.

[Exits: east]
(Charmed) A venomous king cobra is here, ready to strike.
Ulsa is resting here.
(White Aura) A battle-worn looking knight sits here in quiet contemplation.

Ulsa smiles happily.

Fluttery of the wings arouse tiny vibrant orange hairs coating her frame.
Two slanted orbs shadowed by black lashes are planted on each side of her
ellipse-shaped head. An ivory coloured bill cracked with age extends from
her face. A pair of hallowed holes rest just above an elongated neck
connecting to a petite body. Brightly painted feathers surround a barely
visible breast lacking any form of protection.
She has begun to do some traveling.
Ulsa has a few scratches.

Ulsa is using:

You say 'First thing's first.'
Ulsa says 'Hi, Cyprian.'

Ulsa smiles happily.

Cyprian pauses himself.

It starts to rain.
A staff of healing crumbles into dust.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Cyprian nods sagely.

You say 'Good afternoon, Ulsa.'

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

Ulsa smiles happily.

You say 'So you were crying here?'

Ulsa nods slowly.

Ulsa says 'Yes, yes I was.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'Over what exactly?'

Ulsa says 'I feel like I'm letting you down.'

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

Cyprian walks to a tall large oak and slouches his back against it.

Cyprian folds his arms attentively.

You are thirsty.
Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You say 'Me?'

You drink water from a barrel.

Ulsa nods.

You say 'How so?'

Ulsa wipes away a tear.

The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

Ulsa says 'I feel like I can be a better citizen, I can do better for you and your cause.'

Ulsa says 'Better things for the tavern and the citizens of the tavern.'

You say 'My cause..'

The sun slowly disappears in the west.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'I'm trying, I promise I am.'

Cyprian blinks slowly.

The night has begun.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'Woman, when did your soul begin to cry in this manner?'

Ulsa says 'You're the life force of that tavern.'

A lady ranger yells 'Etzin! Now you die!'

Cyprian's expression softens mildly into concern.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'That vampire called me a thief..'

You smirk.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'A thief of blood has place to point the finger at a shadow.'

Ulsa says 'I cannot help what I was born into, I know I'm a thief, but I don't feel like one.'

You say 'What is Serin coming to.'

You shake your head.

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You say 'Forget the words of the leech.'

You say 'At best they only offer confusion.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'I told him I didn't want to travel with him because he was evil.'

You say 'And I know you can't help it. But you don't feel like one either?'

You raise an eyebrow at the notion.

The rain stopped.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say '..and what did he say to that?'

Ulsa says 'He replied with "says the evil thief"'

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at a Knight.

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

Ulsa says 'He does not even know me!'

Cyprian listens thoughtfully.

Ulsa eats a perfectly cooked roast duck.

Ulsa gulps.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'Now I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself.'

The night is about to end.
The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

You say 'And why not?'

You peer intently at Ulsa.

You say 'Born into a cage for which a key may not even exist.'

The day has begun.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say to Ulsa 'What is it?'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

Ulsa says 'Now that one sees me sitting here sobbing, looking all pitiful.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'Forget them. There wasn't even anything I saw that'd give them a place in my own memory.'

You say 'I'm sure you noticed the same lack of distinction in their way.'

Ulsa says 'Why are they so heartless..'

You are thirsty.
The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

You drink water from a barrel.

You say 'Because they've given themselves up to the lusts of their own hearts.'

A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

Ulsa says 'I'm not sure why I feel attached to you, but I also feel like I'm becoming a burden to you.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You smirk.

You say '"Burden."'

Ulsa says 'I should not be putting my problems on you, I should keep them built up inside.'

A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

You say 'Anyone who aspires to heal others and expects a life free of burden should really reconsider their aspiration.'

Lightning flashes in the sky.
The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

You say 'Burdens are part of the trade.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'And you should not keep it to yourself.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'If there are those you can trust to help you carry your own, until it had splintered enough into the winds of Time.'

Ulsa says 'But you have your own life and time you need to dedicate to that tavern.'

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You say 'I was a healer, first.'

The lightning has stopped.
A loaf of skeein bread decomposes.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say '..well really..I was a bard first...'

Yuck, try to cover your mouth next time!

You mutter quietly to yourself.

You say '..then a healer.'

You say 'Point is I was a healer prior to being a patron.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'I just never enrolled officially.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'Will you be honest with me?'

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at Ulsa.

You say 'Of course.'

The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

Ulsa says 'What are your feelings and thoughts of me?'

The sun slowly disappears in the west.
Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You say 'I believe you're a soul tormented in a cage you didn't even build for yourself.'

Ulsa drinks water from a silver chalice ornamented with pearls.

You say 'And I feel like I want to help you unlock it with the key of your choice.'

The night has begun.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'Further...'

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You say 'You've only just started demonstrating an about-intent contrary to what the ether defines you to be.'

Eliza the venomous king cobra flicks its tongue at a Knight.

Ulsa is the embodiment of pure evil!
Ulsa has no regard for the Laws.

Ulsa says 'But where do I even start to find that key in this big world?'

You are hungry.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'You'll need help along the way to see you through to the other side you so ardently desire to embody.'

Lightning flashes in the sky.

You say 'I've never seen anyone in my own life turn from a birth path, and pass through into its opposite.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'But I believe it can be done.'

You say 'But I also fear it will cause you a great deal of suffering.'

Ulsa's hunger wounds her.
Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You get a piece of lumpy breadcake.

You give a piece of lumpy breadcake to Ulsa.

Ulsa says 'Do I seek out Lord Vanisse, or will she come to me?'

Ulsa eats a piece of lumpy breadcake.

You say 'Lady Vanisse.'

You chuckle politely.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'You can just call her "Vanisse," though.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'That's what she told me.'

You say 'You will probably be watched by all the Heavens.'

You say 'Very closely.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

You say 'There will be times when you wish you hadn't chosen to change to begin with.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'Soon as that happens, you know you're doing it right.'

You smile happily.

Ulsa nods at you in agreement.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'Because the harder you push, the stronger opposition will try to ruin you.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'Is there anything at all you'd like to ask?'

Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

Ulsa says 'There is only one question, where do I go from here?'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You nod.

Ulsa says 'Do I remain here til Vanisse comes to me?'

You shake your head.

The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

You say 'You'll see her when she's ready to speak.'

You say 'If I were you, I'd get much needed rest.'

Ulsa says 'I do hope she has heard my prayers.'

A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

Ulsa says 'And I will continue to pray.'

You say 'She actually already knows you were a person of interest.'

Ulsa nods.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'Based on desires I saw that were contrary to what the ether affirms.'

A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

Ulsa says 'My feathers are soaked with my own tears, you are right friend, I do need my rest.'

Cyprian nods sagely.

Ulsa says 'Someone speaks to me..'

A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

You say 'Of course.'

Ulsa says 'Someone invisible..'

Ulsa gets magic dust from a Loot Sack.

Ulsa eats magic dust.

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

Ulsa says 'It's that vampire..'

You say 'And what's he say?'

Ulsa says 'He is asking how I am.'

The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows brightly.

Ulsa says 'What do I say?'

You say 'It's your choice. Though, if I were you I'd tell him the truth...to a point.'

You are thirsty.
The tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts glows a dull red.

You say 'That your tired and about to prepare to depart.'

Ulsa nods.

You are thirsty.
Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

Ulsa says 'I told him I was tired with a burdened heart and must seek rest.'

Cyprian nods sagely.

You say 'You should avoid him though, and others of his path.'

You are thirsty.
A bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts emits a cloud of light blue smoke.

You say 'Best you can, anyway. Otherwise, you have Vanisse in the Heavens, and myself on Thera.'

Ulsa nods.

You say 'And Lufen I'm sure is willing to help where he can. Though his duties are more involved than mine.'

You are thirsty.
The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

You drink water from a barrel.

You say 'Oh, I'm sorry. Were you ready to leave the Temple?'

Ulsa says 'I wish to sleep here for now.'

A staff of healing crumbles into dust.
Smoke from a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts fills the surroundings.

You nod.

Ulsa says 'I feel a calling to stay here for now.'

You say 'I'll leave you be, then. I'll only be back long enough to prepare my own leave.'

The ash falls from the tip of a bucket of angry Fireswarm locusts.

Ulsa nods.

You say 'Sit or I'll be dragging you with me.'

You smirk.

Ulsa sits down and rests.

Ulsa lays down.

      [reply to Vanisse]
    1. You tell Ulsa 'If anyone ever knows beside me, it won't be because I said anything.'

      Great secret keeping!
      1. Yeah. I gave it thought. After a while I figured OOC is OOC, and that Ulsa's player wouldn't mind. Great RPer.
