What is this?
Arrraaghhhh... Pain. Agony. The Shackles.
I can see, my legs... My claws. I can move from this arch at last.
My wings, yes. Freedom.
I have watched over this city for thousands and thousands of years. As
seasons and seasons pass, I stand amongst the shadows, guarding the greater
evil that descends upon the city. The mortal guardians patrol the streets
and in the past wielded almost immortal power to keep the corruption at bay.
For a time, I laid still, watching the parishioners live and die.
Arson, theft... Murder. The countless innocent bodies and disease lied
waste upon the city streets. Blood splattered on all the buildings. It
started to drip onto my stone body. The innocent screams of thousands of
anguish souls, began to breath life into one which had none. I began with
only thought, the memories of the dead mortals and the cries before they
were slaughtered.
These mortal guardians have become weak, a rubble of the grand power they
once were. The hide behind their special mercenaries, giving meaningless
warnings to the scum of evils. The thoughts continued to brew in my mind,
driving my insane and hateful. My claws started to tingle. Neighbouring
cities were lost to factions of men, that let their citizens run wild and
without proper form.
I had enough. These mortals will know the power of Order, the strength of
days past. Blood will be paid with blood.
Description:
Thick, serrated horns curl back between his pointy triangular ears. His
yellow eyes bulge as if the hatred behind them is about to burst forth. A
short snout smothered in black smoke rests atop a wide mouth with two small
fangs on the upper rim. The right fang seems to have chipped and broken
off. A pair of large gray scaled wings are perched from his upper back.
They are arched and ready for flight. The rest of his body looks heavy and
gray, almost reminding you of stone. Large clawed feet and hand are pointed
together in a stable stance. A bit of rubble can be seen scattered around
his legs.
Good job. Unfortunately I haven't seen you or Vya since she uninducted you to at least chat about why, since it was rather shocking to me. For the longest time, even if you didn't log in often, you almost always had an apprehension or fine or something when you would log on. Along with taking down a handful of tougher criminals.
And thanks for breaking me in a bit as well. You were in Justice well before I was even inducted let alone imm'd. I had a little bit of a learning curve myself since the last time I had a Justice it was completely different. So you, Rohandric and Kewlin helped a ton whether you realize it or not.
I have been thinking about retiring "Auhror" for sometime now. I had alot of fun on this character in Justice for a long time. Quasit illusionists are quite deadly, and had alot of perks due to RP on this character which really made me interested to play.
As it got a bit stagnant, the whole name complaining really put a sour taste in my mouth. Don't really want to bring it up again, but that really deter'ed me from playing.
Then a start uninduction from being inactive as a rank 4 cabal member was the last nail on the coffin. At least Vya wrote me a snarky 3 sentence note. I liked the RP as I play a similar ruthless Justice but I don't think I would ever uninduct a long-time senior member for inactivity. Probably start with a demotion. Anyhow, as Leader you get to run the show...within reason. Extremely harsh but not totally unjustified. I might have turned if my interest peaked in the character, but it didn't so meh.
Justice has always been my second favorite cabal, took me a longtime to play a proper one in my young days, but always enjoyed being able to power-trip.

“I don’t think I’d ever uninduct a longtime senior member for inactivity” Well, the thing is, senior members have to play to higher standards and one of those standards is actually playing the game. 350 hours over a three year period? Maybe we should change the time required to outrun inactivity when it comes to cabal members. Players seem to be milking it. As for the name change, sorry bro. The imms don’t take name changes lightly.
Averaging 10 hours/month, that's enough to keep most of my rares. I think averaging 10 hours/month for a 3 year character is quite sufficient, definitely above average for most cabal members. Especially if you take longevity into account, as I was number 14 on the creation date.
I am not saying punishment is unjustified for inactivity. I just said personally, having played many cabal leaders, I would never uninduct a rank 4 member outright for inactivity. Probably start by asking why they have been missing patrols, then proceed to a demotion before uninduction. Everyone has their own opinions on this, I am just speaking from my point of view and opinion is all.

Congratulations on having a character over three years old, that is an accomplishment. I’d shoot for thirty hours a month as a senior cabal member, but that is just me. I don’t think I’d demote a character for inactivity. I doubt that would make an already idle player be less idle. As for the RP for demotion...it’s hard to have an RP session for a character that doesn’t show up for the RP, but let’s say they do....It wouldn’t be outstanding RP.
Congratulations on being number fourteen in the creation list, that’s almost in the top ten.
Is it really ten hours a month to keep rares? I don’t think I’ve ever thought of that when I’ve had a character, but that explains why I’m shitty with equipment. Usually I just have gambled and forged EQ and not named equipment. If I’m decked out it’s only because I’ve looted someone. I’m terrible at killing mobs and getting EQ from them.
WTF Vya uninducted you? That’s bullshit. With the pbase as low as it is, uninducting someone for lack of activity is super lame. Plus promoting someone to captain who hasn’t had a legitimate apprehension....Vya is making some intesting decisions. Sorry to see you go. I too thought the name change was bullshit.

At lastly, I hated the forced name change.

Aaehruor 0 , 0 , 0 . Yea I am all about gambled EQ these days too. Less of a target, don't need to worry about the hours. Just logon and get into the fray.
