His thick hide is a matte black, with a dark purple ridge running from the tip of his long thick tail all the way up his back to the tip of his long narrow snout. His large reptilian eyes are a deep amber hue with eyelids that close vertically, sunk deeply in his face under a ridged browline. His teeth are sharp and thin, with a secondary set behind the first, and his tongue is more like that of a human, relatively short for a reptile and rounded at the end. His long arms have very short fins running their length, with long slender hands that sport needle-like claws from their ends. His legs are thick, and lean him forward into a naturally hunched pose, while his feet are wide and short with four thick hooked claws at the front and an even larger one at the back to help maintain balance.
