Description:
A man before you stands about five feet eleven inches give or take an
inch. His head us cleanly shaven with a long silver braid coming from the
back of his head. He is of slight build, his shoulders and chest are thin
and frail, and his skin is very pale as if he has not been exposed to the
sun in a very long time. Although he is standing up straight and tall,
there is an obvious hump on the top of his neck. His face is another
pronounced feature, with blood red eyes peeking out from beneath tidy
eyebrows. His cheekbones are flat and somewhat sunk into his stern face.
His ears are very round and skinny lips are compressed strongly.
Lorne if you really want to know why I delete my characters so quickly it is because i have nothing invested in them. I make characters to try and avoid the flaws I have within this game. I made illusionists because I can't chase down people and ill are great for quick kills, but I can't handle the murder flee.
I made necros for sleep and mals, but I can never get to the the zombies I should and the murder flee would probably own me too.
I made rangers because of the weapon switch lag and it was easier for combat module.
over all I suck at chasing when someone goes out west gate in the forest and disappears i never find them. The map is just too big for me here and I rarely get kills by chasing someone down, if the fight isn't over in the first minute chances are I will lose.
The fight with Zota, im thinking if I didn't have all red adamantium eq I would be in bad shape or if he had all that eq he would win easily. rangers have been the only class that I feel confident in to win fights, but thats just me.

I can't chase or win pitched even fights against people doing murder/flee. Or get the best zombies, or use a golf bag of weapons.
The only reason I win my fights is that I initiate them at the worst possible time for the enemy player. I never, ever take any risks. My equipment is always multi-purpose (use rares enchanted with a set and fill in the rest with gambled to get high saves and average hit/dam) and I whore a high-average weapon. A cursed one that can't be disarmed if possible. I explore the map and find every bug or movement inhibiting room or lag inducing mobprog or noexit or door or water or or or and I use them against my enemies. If I use a trick it's burned and it can never be used again because now they know. If an enemy asks me anything I always reply with a lie, no matter what the question was.
If you use some of these techniques you will make the game mechanics 100% irrelevant to your ability to kill other players. You would be able to kill people with a level 50 Freelancer

lol you are too hard on yourself. you succeed just fine. I've seen you kill decent people with other characters and you kicked my ass too. you just need to keep practicing man.
But I don't see how you can overcome or get better with a class with so little time invested in them. What do they say, 10,000 hours to master something? I mean that's a bit much, but you get my drift.
I've been playing this game alot longer than you and I really only play a few classes very well. Average at a couple classes, shit a couple and haven't even played some of the classes. I remember during my prime, I had a legion thief and necro, both of them getting my shit pushed in from everyone. Just couldn't get it right. Each class really should be played differently, and most importantly, pk very differently. It takes time to adjust your playing style to optimize.
Come to think of it, I've only played 1 healer, 1 paladin and 1 invoker. Never even played a monk, bard or shadow.
Anyways, long as you're having fun dude, you do you. Just seems to me it's hard to get better at something if you don't put the time in to it.

Mose of my "successful" chars have had 50% or less k/d ratio because it took eating 10-15 deaths just to figure out what the hell I was doing.

I agree with lorne. You need some time to figure out the classes. Take time exploring the best way to kill someone. Shaman's shouldnt havr a problem with that. If I can do it, I'm sure you can! :D

A lot of this games players are actually a lot better at it than they think but they also severely underestimate just how good everyone else is, and that's why many of my characters enjoyed more success than they should've.
that's the point of the entire game, to be the best at something I always shoot to have my name in the top 5 pkers and I still have a long term goal to become a cabal leader some day. Everyone plays the game with different hopes and goals. Ozaru you are prob one of the defining people who helped me find the class that im best suited for throughout the years we have played together.
