Serin is filled with many tales of adventure and treasure. Many visions
of beauty and of terror. The tale of Barg is one filled with wonder and
mystery. It all started long long ago. A block of stone. A very large
block of stone... Then there was the chisel, made of diamond and obsidian.
Last, the hammer and files, made from an unknown metal.
Many years went into his creation blood, pain, and wonder. Bit by bit the
chisel took first large chunks to get the general shape, and
eventually smaller and smaller shavings. It was over a year before the
stone began to take shape. Humanoid in design but chiseled to gigantic
proportions. The stone was flawed, but the artist that crafted it was a
master and worked around the flaw to perfection. It was to be placed at the
entrance of a city across from another behemoth of a statue. Many years the
statues remained standing sentinel before a city seemingly of gold. People
came, and went gathering treasures and more. Soon the city verily thrummed
with the power contained within. The world being what it was, made the city
a target and war came. Still the statue sat where it had been posted. A
millennia passed the city becoming a part of the wilds around it. Soon the
city was told of only in legend, but the statue remained.
One day that was all to change. Visitors once more, but they came to rob
and take what was not theirs. Many traps within the city ended the lives of
most of the first explorers, but it had been found. More came until soon
all that stood was the now solitary statue, its counterpart rubble. Then a
voice, a will, power... "Barg.... Barg...."
"BARG BOOM!!!!" It had begun.
Description:
The statue before you looks carved from something akin to marble or granite. A towering figure of a man in giant sized proportions. This statue's face is covered in the natural fissures that you would find in a slab of granite. Black and blue swirling veins fill the light colored stone giving it quite the interesting look. Your first impression that this is a statue is shaken heavily when this giant of a figure turns to look down at you...
