Daughter Cara. Half daughter in the eyes of both parents and families.
Clearly a not planned or wanted child it was a near miracle she was born at
all. Primary schooling was boring.... And loud. It wouldn't last surely,
she thought. The noise was annoying. Home was no different. Mollee, her
mother, and Philburt, her father, were always on each others last nerve.
This was taken out on her, of course. All blames and yelling were directed
at her, be it her fault or not. Late schooling was no different, much to
her chagrin. She moved her thoughts inward more and more as she tried to
block out the noise that seemed to never cease. Louder and louder! Then
the bullying at school and the beatings at home. The noise and pain were
unbearable and she fled to silence within herself. She stayed in the
sanctity of the quiet as long as often and as long as she could. School
wasn't even a thought, learning came secondary to her mental exercises.
"Pointy EAR moron!" "Round nose idiot!" Block it out... "Why did you
break the glass stupid." Inward... "Get better you worthless dog."
Silence... "Don't worry, it's fine." Glimmers... "Shut up!" Hush...
"Learn to balance yourself with the world" Balance..? "Be amazing!" Who..?
"You are worthless!" Me..?
"You can learn the center of yourself and the world. You must."
I must.
Description:
Rivulets of silver and brown have been woven into a spiral bun atop the
head of this young girl. Propping the hair up are two ever so slightly
pointed ears and a tight forehead. A burst of deep red from the pupil is
held back from taking over the eye by a ring of emerald green and the purest
of whites. Painted ruby lips hold little emotion on them as the nose sits
above boasting the damage of an old cut. The horizontal scar contrasts the
skin around it, standing off-white against a dying leaf gray. Though toned
the body is still slight in its build and flows with her movements.
Compositionally, the girl clearly has the cultural influences from both
human and drow.
