Protruding out of his helmet is long darkish red hair which is quite a contrast to his long white beard. He has clever blue eyes and lustrous white teeth, there are visible markings along the side of his face. It is hard to determine if it is a tattoo or scars from fighting. The rest of his clothing is bright shiny armor that is fit to be worn by a lord or noble. Dotel is starting to develop a small hump in the top half of his back, probably from age. Dotel's most noticeable feature is his hands, they are very clean and his nails are shaped in the form of small daggers. Overall, Dotel has the appearance of an average, aged human.
