It was Ethiawin's Anniversary of Birth, and his father Elviawin had
gathered as many of the village as he could muster to celebrate his son's
becoming a full member of the village. The home was filled with little room
to mill about, even for gnomes. The ale and wine had been dispensed and
some of the younger gnomes had either taken to finding a suitcase or closet
to nap, or else to find a place to nap with a companion. After hours had
passed, Elviawin gathered the attention of the guests, and said with his
most booming of voices,
"Friends, and family and not friends nor family, today is the 17th
anniversary of my son's birth, and we are glad to have some of you, and
compelled to have the rest. I wish to allow my son to speak. And tell us
how he hopes to contribute to his family and our village. Ethiawin,
please."
Ethiawin stood up, and looked to his mother, and then his father.
"I should like to leave the village and move to Seringale, to learn
spellcraft and protect the city."
No one in Ethiawin's family had ever left the village, or possessed any
desire to learn magick, much less to become an arm of the law, and a hush
fell over the crowd. Without a word, Ethiawin's father stood from the
table, grabbed Ethiawin harshly by the hair, and in whatever the opposite of
gently is, sawed away at Ethiawin's beard. Ethiawin, left with tiny patches
of uneven hair on his chin then watched as his father immediately walked out
the door of his house and out to the village.
Description:
A tiny, remarkably clean and prim half man is standing before you, hair
parted and oiled back. His chin is held upward, above that, rosy plump
cheeks and an out of place straight line for a mouth on this cherub. He has
no beard or moustache, and his nails are clean and trimmed. Unusually clean
and trim. Slender and as tall as a child, you see that his bag is
overflowing with dog-eared and dusty books, the only thing about him that
looks disheveled. His age is impossible to guess, looking like a child and
an old man at once.
This character was a lot of fun. First serious 50, First serious cabal member. Learned a ton, had a lot of good encounters, but ultimately got bored being a Justice, its a tough gig. The high water mark was killing Khiotha, which for some reason doesn't seem to be reflected in the god awful stats. It was extremely refreshing when I a group was talking about who the strongest mage in Serin was, and their response was "Ethiawin, no question" although I don't believe that was true. Again, great time.

Character was good, just had a bit of a learning curve with Justice. All in all, the time you dedicate to each of your characters is great, so keep it up.
I like you as a player but I found Ethiawin somewhat annoying. Probably what you were going for but, we sure did spend alot of time playing together. Glad you are a part of the community now.
Ethiawin I had a lot of great interactions with you on a char I was playing back in like May/June I think. I don't remember which char I was, but I remember that we were friends and I liked you.
You and Jyrdivar sometimes got on my nerves with your incompetence (mostly Jyrdivar). You were decidedly not as bad as he was (I don't recall you dying as often), but it was harder for me to work with you than it was to work with Conundo. With that said, there were some good times... I think it was during my third trip going up towards the top of the Barren Wilderness that we were with Vya and managed to make it up to the Sensei before recalling back.
I had a hit out on this guy for a long time. If a Legion managed to bribe him, corrupt him, or kill him so hard he deleted they would have gotten a double promotion. Nobody cashed it in
