Title: the Most Powerful Warrior in All Thera Gender: Male Level: 50 Class: stone giantwarrior
Background history:
Description:
Grinding rock and smashing of pebbles can be heard as this Stone Giant comes before you. Details of this being are hard to make out because his body and face are covered with cracks. What looks to be a beard is a bunch of green moss growing on his face, and on his head a single tree branch shoots straight up. Thunderous booms can be heard when he speaks, as if mountains collide with one another. Weapons of many sorts seem to be shoved into his body, one of the most eye catching being a sword shoved where his heart should be.
I came back to play for abit and enjoyed it for the most part, and tried to learn how to fight better, hence my post on invoke but then I get trash like beia with a shitty attitude always bringing everyone down even when they try to do better, I mean hey I got trashed talked on invoke to delete and seemed like for the most part ive lost a lot of my ability to pk being gone, whatever I guess this is a sign for me to give up on this, attitude of some people in AR really kill it and I use to be one of the people who did that, im not sure how to look at the game anymore, motive to play again is at an all time low and it really sucks cause I actually enjoyed being around Mkatos, bitsy, and most of the legions more then usual, great idea with the protection and countess stuff no one in particular rubbed me wrong and If I did the same to anyone im sorry. Take it easy ladies and gents.
Don't let the trash talking nonsense bother you. It happens just about anywhere, and we have all been guilty of it one time or another, whether it has been IC or out. To remain with the same name and come back with a different attitude does show something, though. Just play when you want to have some fun, let the stuff that bothers you go right out the other ear. Or let it fuel you to make something else. I encourage a strong background & desc & pet desc before creation, that way while you hunt and gain levels you will have information to relate to, to build and immerse your adventures.
I don't think invokation.net even has developers or moderators anymore. I can just remove its links from our website if you guys feel it is no longer a worthwhile resource to have in our 'official' network. But I think that community is generally pretty good since they provide everyone with all those maps, ids and PK advice.
I think that we take invokation for granted after all these years. It's an amazing asset for new players. I remember years ago there was that site that the one big ooc group had made, cams? I used it all the time... Then found invokation, and it was a godsend. I think it helps the newbie learning curve so much. It's sad that some players abuse it. But a few bad apples always exist. I could tell you were trying to do better on this one. I liked him. Too easy to fall into old habits. Focus on immersion, and rp, as stated, and you will find this place as magical as it once was. It has helped me to enjoy it again. Eq, fighting... It comes and goes, but the magic is in the community and the connections. Sorry to say so much! Hope to see you again soon.
