Grilidan is a mostly private person, but is very friendly and polite. He
presents to be quite the mystery and a little bit of a contradiction. He is
well mannered and seems well versed in Serin traditions and projects every
appearance of nobility or that of the high born, but yet dresses like a
peasant and chooses to spend all his time in the forests and country.
Grilidan really only is ever seen in the city every couple of weeks or so,
peddling furs and berries he has gathered.
Grilidan gets in a fight
Young Grilidan had obtained a large haul of pelts and was on his way to
Solace to sell them when he stumbled across a group of bandits. They
quickly surrounded him and demanded his wares, Grilidan did not want any
trouble and obliged. The tallest of the bandits shoved Grilidan, and blows
were exchanged. The remainder of the bandits joined in and Grilidan managed
to knock out a few of them before he was pinned. The bandits were impressed
with the courage and strength (although clumsy and lacking in finesse), and
while they did not give Grilidan his wares back, he had gained the respect
of another Human. Grilidan realized that he had a knack for fighting, but
that he needed to find out what he was doing. Grilidan made his way to
Seringale and made arrangements with the Rangers guild to learn their ways.
Grilidan quickly learned that he had a long, painful road ahead of him.
A tall lanky Human stands before you. Dark black hair obscures his face,
it is thick and matted and is filled with pollen and dirt. He wears an
unkempt beard that is patchy at best, a good guess would estimate this young
man is no more than seventeen years old. He dresses plainly in peasant
clothes, the sleeves on his blouse are rolled up and reveal are unsettlingly
hairy. He appears to be dressed more for comfort and practicality over
prestige. His hands are calloused and portray knuckles that are as hairy as
the rest of his arms, a peek at his palms also reveals a larger than normal
amount of hair. He appears to be missing over half of his right ear, and
seems to be missing a large number of his teeth. Closer inspection reveals
that even with spaces where teeth should be, he appears to have more teeth
than the average Human.
