Darkness pitch black darkness consumed my soul. The last thing I
remember was that assassin taking my life infront of my love. Darkness
consumed me. Flashs of memories fill my mind. Fire burns in my soul. When
I woke up, I was bound my hands tied, my mouth muffled. I was unable to
move. I tried to scream but nothing came out. My voice had been taken from
me. I could not see anything but darkness. Many years I stand, unable to
do anything. Until the laughter, I heard the laughter over and over day
after day. Finally I was set free to roam this world.
The Myth of Henald
We speak admiringly of a pride of lions, or kindly of a charm of finches,
but a terror of ravens? Somehow it does not seem fair, although
opportunistically scavenging and feeding on dead animals makes the
association with obvious... --Anonymous
The myth of Henald has spread across the lands, whispered from one to
another. There is no solid evidence or proof that this myth is true, but
this is how it goes.
Beyond any doubt, the raven is considered first and foremost a bird of evil.
Its resonant "caw" has signaled pending doom throughout history in societies
throughout the realms. During the military invasions and plagues in earlier
centuries, the raven dined on human corpses, and they apparently loitered
near the sites designated for human executions. The sight of a raven
brought fear and anxiety to those of weak mind and stout heart alike.
Ravens have been known to lead other avian through tyrannical means, often
maiming some so that others are submissive. Not surprisingly He was known
as the Raven long ago... Scriptures of old indicate that He has existed
since the forming of the realms. Feared by the very Gods themselves, they
banded together to imprison him. After bring confined for ages in a prison
of stones deep beneath the surface of the realms, Henald has broken free.
Henald is seldom viewed by mortals in the waking world enjoying instead to
manipulate mortals into believing their actions are their own. He derives
pleasure from the sheer terror in a person's eyes or the shaking of their
boots when they believe they are in his presence. Some claim he can
sometimes be sensed in every dark mist that haunts the realms, others say he
is present when they hear a Raven's "caw". When mortals do find themselves
in his presence, be assured that death and destruction are near.
Description:
Standing at least six feet from the ground, this creature is covered completly in dirty white cloth that has been wrapped all around his body. The eye holes reveal nothing but darkness. The shape of the creature looks rather normal almost human like. Slender curves show where the cloth has been squeezed tight. Some parts of the cloth are covered in blood, others are covered in dirt.
Beia, if this was you, very well done. 50% is an efficiency that I had aimed for (and not reached) for a long time. Seems you are becoming stronger with the PK force. And no meltdown? Rerolled already I assume, best of luck on the next!
Same story as below, slayed on my mage for apparently cussing at someone. I can not count how many times Imms tell me to fuck off or tough shit in game.. Also I will not be rerolling anything. I need a break for real.
I think the real issue though is just behaving like your usual self on all your characters, and that would be fine if they were all berserkers or something. You know, Jack Nicholson basically plays the same character over and over, and he plays it really well and he draws people into theatres and makes money. He's interesting. You can be interesting too, but this isnt your thing.
