Hrimoyan, raised within the ancient underground forest "Ysigbra". There are tales told that the Armageddon Sanctuary is actually the natural barrier to the entrance of his ancient forest, and serves to protect it. A tribe of beast-blooded humans live within Ysigbra, they are known as the Hrimoyan. They seem to be a tribe that live purely off the land and seem to hardly recognize difference amongst each other. They all acknowledge each other with the same name, perhaps there's a hidden dialect within the name said that allows them speak of different villagers with the same name, but it would truly confuse any outsider. Because they live off the land, they do not take great interest in superficial or luxury material. Hrimoyan is of this line, but has been strained and torn from his tribe. One day, during the daily hunt that one young Hrimoyan from the tribe must, Hrimoyan was caught in the midst of great forces clashing near the surface. He surfaced to see the cause behind it and came across the aftermath of two giants, one now slain. The victorious giant was widly clawing at the corpse pulling random items that seemed to not have much importance for the sake of just wearing clothes. Hrimoyan was greatly disturbed by this, but was soon no longer out of the sight of the large giant. He began to angrily storm towards Hrimoyan causing the ground to quake violenty. Hrimoyan sought to flee back to his home, but the way back was caved in from the violent quaking. As Hrimoyan turned around to face the great giant with no place to flee, a bright flash of arching lightning struck a nearby tree and a large tree limb collapsed onto the giant stunning him just long enough for Hrimoyan to get away safely. Running south east he came across a quiet town by the name of Timaran. There he gained an interest to the guild of rangers that seemed to easily mesh with the knowledge he already had of nature. Taking his prinicples with him from his homeland, he seeks to find a greater purpose that align with his ideals of a modest way of living.
Description:
A man encompassed in leather stands before you. Leathers of different
shades of brown layer over this average view of a human. A few choice
leaves have found their way between the layers hinting he finds himself
comfortable in the woodlands. A leather hood rests upon his head and covers
the majority of his face. His face is slightly exposed when viewed from a
side perspective which gives off a glint of gold signifying a ring is within
his left nostril. Only other noticeable detail of him is a slight wheeze
that follows every few breaths.
Damn, i remeber hrimoyan briefly from before i quit playing last time. Good job on the imm'ing. I just knew that you were who played him, just knew it.
Congratulations, Amdorin. I hope to be seeing you around quite a bit! If you're ever awake, feel free to come about at 5am eastern time, that's when I get off work (afghanistan) and it's lonely! Heheh. That or I will see you 10 hours from that time. Once again, congratulations!
I can't think of anyone more deserving through interaction and role play than you man! Great job as a mortal leader and I hope you can do as well or better as immortal leader! All in all a positive influence for AR.
I've never practiced those on rangers because they seem useless. Scan > Scout and I'd rather disarm/shield disarm/dirt/be ready to switch weapons/be ready to pursue fleeing foe than kick. Did you find those useful at all?
Low-high 90's for most of your skills is awesome for not actively training them.
What were some of the best fights/kills you had on Hrimoyan and what are some of the most embarrasing deaths?
I added kick and scan just for the heck of it since it wouldn't equal out to another train anyway.
Some of Hrimo's best memories of fighting was fighting with Tyrdeth back when he and I were first applying. We were rivals of sorts, he was Legion. Both ended up leaders too so that was cool. Absolutely hated chasing him.
By the way there are a good amount of logs on invokation. I'm sure they can be digged up somewhere.
Memorable fights:
-Tyrdeth - basically my rival, I think he ended up on top after our 8 or so battles. He thought the opposite..idk.
-Miss Issa - ultra chain lighting my pets to nothing of doom
-Theoric - Good fights and one sided fights. Some things never change LOL.
-Atyrdolm - Really good fights, handed me my ass more than I liked.
-Tzakrid - Strongest of the vamps I fought.
-Quar (stalemates though) - Ridiculous precision in ..everything.
-Vaelyn - we had the same creation date, though he was year after me
-Arvar - reminded me why I didn't use lead shot in a year, especially against fighter types.
My favorite kill of all time is one-two rounding Theoric with bow and water arrows. I think he was still frenzied from Paelgrim before he left and saw me at Circle of Trees. I think he initiated but he tried to jump me dual wielding (frenzy screws your parry [he was wearing blades] and you can't dodge arrows) and I just awe'd at the ***** flying lol. I found out later the irony in that fight, which I'll leave alone until Theoric condies or deletes lol.
Embarrasing deaths:
-Most recently I basically died to Aahdeya's sleep spell, full loot and not even a corpse
-The hoarding healer that hid behind Great Sea Dragon, I cannot remember if it was Azazhog or Amirlith or one of those. Died to the dragon before finishing them.
There's so many noteable people that came and went in his 2+ years. Great RP with so many, time is starting to run together. While I can't list everyone, I likely have a memory or two with each noteable char that would be mentioned.
These aren't nearly all my memories, but it's the best I can do at 1:23 am.. iTired.
