Born in the city of Seringale, Kehriyl lived with her parents until the
young age of two. A fire had taken the lives of her parents, nearly
leaving her to be alone. It would just so happen that a man who
introduced himself as "Uncle" appeared shortly after the fire to take
custody of young Kehriyl and keep her off the streets. And so for the
next several years, Kehriyl would live with her Uncle. Years spent
living in agony.
The days with her Uncle were strictly scheduled. It would begin with
her awakening in her tiny bare room, where she slept upot a sheet of
fabric on the floor. Her uncle would bang three times on the door, and
softly say "It is time to wake up and play my dear." The first time
she heard this, Kehriyl was filled excitement of whatever games she
would be playing. Excitement that was quickly taken from her. Her
Uncle took her to a dark room with nothing but a chair. "Are you ready
to play?" She learned that any answer but yes would make him angry so
she simply nodded. "Outstanding, so let us begin." From this point
her Uncle would proceed to cast spells of all sorts on young Kehriyl.
After being tortured from the the onslaught, her Uncle forced her to say
"Thank you for playing with me" before she would be allowed back to
her dank room to sleep for the next day. This continued every day
without fail for the next eight years.
One night she finally saw her chance, Uncle left the door unlatched.
She waited until she was sure he was asleep and found her way out. Out
of the torture and into the cold streets of Seringale. With no place
to go and no money to spend she wandered the limits of the city finding
scraps to nourish her where ever she could. While resting near the
pond in the city park, she was approached by a stranger who gave her
some bread to eat. Seeing the loaf of bread reminded her of Uncle and
she screamed and cowered away. Seeing her reaction to the bread, the
stranger offered her a bite of beef from the local butcher, which she
gladly accepted. The stranger introduced himself as a member of the
local monestary and invited Kehriyl to stay with them until she got
well. She reluctantly agreed and followed the stranger to her new home.

So, here I was sitting at work on duty and the thought of AR came up in my mind. I proceed to check out the site to see whats new and see monks and warlord reopened.. Had to give it a try. I started the character thinking okay I'm going to play this one try to relearn the game and not get destroyed, but if I do it's fine I'll condeath it. Recently I realize that it's going to take forever to condeath so I gave up on it and decided well I'll play it til I go on deployment and let it inactivity delete. But then I was getting kinda bored of all the duel declines or bashing my head against the few I couldn't beat ever so ended it. It was a good run, I'll still be lurking around but don't know if I'm going to have another mortal around, however I will be a bit active.
Only thing I regret is not getting another chance to fight Lorne after I got better against berserkers. Maybe I'll have another monk someday to try it again.
