When Kelili Roselight was in her early years, she was quiet and shy. She
spent more time reading books than she did interacting with the other
children about her area. Her parents tried to coax her into spending more
time with her peers, but she was simply not interested in getting herself
dirty or doing more than daydreaming or reading about faraway lands. After
much frustration, Kelili's parents chose to let Kelili become an apprentice
of an elderly witch when she turned 13.
Kelili spent much of her time for the next four years learning minor
cantrips, how to meditate properly in order to replenish her mental
energies, and eventually learned how to cast the magic missile spell.
The day before she turned 17 however, her mistress, whose health had never
been great to begin with, failed her. The dying words of Kelili's mistress
are a permanent reminder to her of her longevity: "You will see many people
come and go, Kelili. Your kin live for centuries, and I am but the first of
those who you will see die before you."
And so Kelili's apprenticeship ended abruptly. She realized, that with time
on her side, she could become a natural teacher of multiple generations of
magic users. All that she had to do first was learn the ways of the
elements...
Description (commended):
An overwhelmingly strong aura of arcane power exudes itself from the body
of this elf. Her entire body appears to be covered in a criss-coss of pale
white skin and intricate black markings, almost like she has obtained a
number of tattoos. She is not especially tall, being about five human feet
in height. Her hair, which appears to be an especially light shade of
strawberry-blonde, seems to crackle as bits of blue static move through it.
This hair goes down to her waist and is almost completely unraveled. The
only place her hair is held in place is over her forehead, to allow her to
see what goes on around her. Her forehead appears to be scrunched, as
though she is constantly in a state of concentration. There is a mark above
her right eye which appears to be blackened, as though she suffered a severe
burn at some point.
