Description:
The slimy creature standing before you is staring hungrily at your
forehead with his milky white eyes. His skin glistens with a thick mucous
membrane reflecting the light as thick, oily liquid oozes out of its pores.
This ooze drips onto the ground slowly. His flesh is rubbery and mauve, his
mouth, a revolting thing like a lamprey's maw, constantly drips an oily
slime. Four slender tentacles flay anxiously through the air, their suction
cups pulsating with an almost inaudible hiss. The creature stands tall,
around 7 feet, with awkwardly long legs.
So this was my first attempt with an illusionist. By far the most shocking way to kill someone that is unprepared or just new to the game. Some things that were a bit disappointing was how often I failed with dream strike, even with it mastered I rarely hit the spell.
Failing to duplicate illusions was a bit of a pain, but not nearly the stress caused by failing to raise a zombie. But the lack of available things to duplicate is annoying, it would be nice to have more of a selection instead of the same 3 over and over.
Another surprise was the fact that a few people would log out or go link dead when I was on, that was a definite first lol. But to those people I repeatedly killed it really was for me to just test out how to fight with an ill. My two pk deaths were Grimfrak and Krite that slash damage is no joke. Two pretty poor showings on my part, but definitely the murder flee is not fun to deal with.
What peeks my interest would be to have an illusionist keeper, to be able to gamble hp eq so easily in keepers and just be a blood thirsty rare sacrificer has its appeal, and I think would be pretty damn successful.
Possible bug may be the warrior deaths, pretty sure I only died 4 times, 2 by winter mobs, 1 ber and 1 warrior
