Kohga wandered out of Mahn-Tor with a seething purpose bred from a
contempt for man passed to him from his father, whose father in turn had
instilled it in him. Long ago man had sought to control the minotaurs,
using them like beasts of burden... Whipping them and beating them in order
to bend them to their will. At long last the minotaurs rose up in a chaotic
mass of disdain and hate for the horrors done to them, and since that day
that hate coursed through the bloodline of Kohga's entire family. Kohga
lived for one purpose only: killing. In this land of Serins though, Kohga
was taught that there was one group to follow if necessary to survive. And
so he made his way to Darkhaven to join the Legion.
Description:
A minotaur of huge proportions towers above you, seething with hatred and
rage. His head appears to be crowned by clouds, with only a glint of
sunlight reflecting off the pair of horns perpendicular to his snout. A
huge scar is slashed across his cheek, still bleeding and vivid. His hair
is slightly mussed, signifying his apparent disregard for grooming of any
sort. Vicious red eyes stare at you, reflecting the madness broiling within
his mind. His hair is pitch black, like his heart.
I wasn't involved with this, but leaders are allowed to uninduct for whatever reason they want, especially legions. I know that I haven't seen you online in a long time. *shrugs*
Knight mortal leaders are expressly forbidden from offline uninducting without my approval for this exact reason. Doing so is shit rp and just pisses off the player. Not even a note? Cmon guys.

my approach is that in Legion, it's the fault of the victim. If a guy got uninducted, it's his fault for not being Forsaken sooner. Fixing it is the victim's responsibility (to send a note, plead the case, be notable enough to be invited back)

That makes sense I guess. The two cabals are quite different. Plus good will always win because evil is dumb.

I don't normally like offline uninducts either but I do it in Warlords every now and then. Like if some guy hasn't played for 110 days, he's going to get purged soon anyways.
firstly i can say i had 2 or 3 different legion cabal chars and never seen this dude around, don't complain if you aren't doing shit for the cabal your in bro
You know what you COULD have done? Log in and play your character. Ask for readmittance. Deleting just shows how little you cared, which is why you were uninducted in the first place. Don't like it? Don't half-ass a caballed character.
My complaint isn't about being uninducted. Read the comment. It is about being uninducted in a shitty RP fashion by someone who is supposed to be epitomizing stellar RP - the cabal leader. And don't get all holier than thou Lourchy, you've been essentially inactive for months and just came back. Take this all for what it is, which is an opportunity to learn how to be a better RP'er.
but you don't even have the right to complain about being uninducted you are never around literally, i seen lourch a few times across a couple legions and fyrvielle and shit you literally never came about ever, thats like someone complaining because their char got denied, you did it to yourself.
Kohga, your character was 11 months old. That's almost eight thousand hours of potential playtime. You put in 50. You didn't even make it to level 50 to really be useful in the cabal. I find it distasteful that you would attack my RP for purging a character so incredibly inactive. I'm sorry that it made you upset enough to go about it in this fashion, which makes you, the player, look bad. My point was that there are other, better ways to handle a situation such as this. Others seem to agree with me here, so maybe you should think about that and put a little more effort into your next caballed character. We all have personal lives. I had to take some time off myself so I could deal with work and stuff with my son, so I get it. I actually am hoping that by being a hardass, I can get some better quality, harder-ass characters into the Legion. Which is what it needs. No personal offense intended on my part.

I would say offline inductions for inactivity is much better than having stagnancy in the cabal. I wouldn't approve of someone getting booted or demoted while offline for misconduct, but being booted for never playing seems legit. It seems important to relieve stagnancy and keep a fresh feel.
Speaking of stagnancy - I know my hours have taken quite a dip a couple times within the last two months. Job. Approaching spring and the ensuing yard work. Other stuff. If a consensus is ever made within Herald or among staff to have me removed from the coterie at any time for that kind of thing, I'd understand. Just wanted to say I don't consider myself above the interests of Herald. Or the MUD for that matter.

I don't know whether Heralds would care. The thing with stagnancy it has an odour. Its frustrating for the people who still play when the leader spots are taken up by people that do not. It also projects an outwards image that "This cabal is boring". Stagnancy slowly strangles cabals with an unhealthy malaise. I am 100% in favor of pruning for this because I think it seriously harms the cabal. But, its up to the leaders, of course.
"Being offline uninducted without so much as a note from someone explaining why is a shitty experience for a player." and i quote, stop whining if you aren't going to put effort into the cabal chars you got and they get wiped, personally i hate being in a cabal and seeing jackmcdickflipper last seen 50+ days ago. first thing you did was whine because you got uninducted.
ALSO if you don't show the fuck up hhow can anyone expect to remove you...you just want us to keep you on roster till your char goes inactive like duh don't be a dumb ass
You aren't reading his complaint. He is upset he didn't get a note or any kind of interaction in regards to the boot. With other cabals I would agree. Legion? Not in the least bit. Why would the forsaken waste his time? He doesn't owe you an explanation. You displeased him, he booted you. Nuff said.
Nycticora 0 , 0 , 0 . I don't do offline uninductions myself but sometimes a new forsaken purges all the inactives. With only 50 hours on this guy you can't really complain

That's how I literally felt/feel with Iryn, logs in to not get purged and its a bit frustrating to have a lack of leadership.
