Lorawyn was a member of a lower caste within the society of the drow.
She was barely two rungs higher in the ladder than the slaves as a free
woman. She lived underground for much of her youth, and only on two
occasions did she sally forth from the depths. On one occasion, she went
into Timaran. The other time, she went further and found the Fortress of
Gasteride within the Unsiliel Forest. She fought to survive. It became
natural for her to carry a shiv at all times, in case she was attacked. She
also obtained a flail and practiced swinging it countless times.
Her decision to leave the underground depths was due to running out of
options. She did not want to become a slave, nor a bonded person. She
chose to pray not to any of the deities beneath the surface, but to Rodyn
because of his altar's presence within the Fortress of Gasteride. Strength
was one standard everyone respected, and one she strived towards. She
decided on her path in life soon after: to become a champion among warriors,
and perhaps of Rodyn himself.
Description:
A slim, dark figure with toned muscles is here. It has boyish looks to
it, having a short top knot and generally slim body. However, another look
reveals a slight amount of curve on a pair of wide hips, and an almost
nonexistent extension of muscles on the chest. Therefore, this specimen is
female. Her shoulders are narrow, and her arms are thin but well-developed.
She has a toned midsection, indicating a life of hard exercise. Her legs
are short, and she is also a short individual, not clearing five feet in
height.
I think its possible that some people play AR to distract themselves from way gnarlier problems, and work through their shit. If that is true it means that when they move on or delete sometimes its the frustrations that make the player realize really their life is in a better spot and they don't need it at the moment, but at the end of the day AR is still their drug of choice and likely they will come back when the time is right.
So lets mourn the lost, and lets miss them, but also remember there's reasons why people need it and it can be happy to see someone go.
I suppose it is a bit late to say this, but this was my character. It was my first time in the Warlords, I wasn't doing too well, and I noticed that I had picked a particularly tough combination, tougher than I was expecting. I should have gone chaotic evil for sure... That would have given me access to the dagger of Chaos and other wild weapons. The most recent disarm change happened after I started playing but I lost interest. Drow are well suited to the dirt kick and disarm strategy (I beat a human warrior with four or five ranks on me with that strategy when he openly attacked me) but their damage is low for a warrior.
I had enough active characters anyway that this one was no longer needed. My apologies to Daorisk and any of the other Warlords who I may have let down with my absence.
Davairus 0 , 0 , 0 . The cycle of life and delete continues
