Death is but a part of life. That is the most important lesson Luranita learned in her youth. She was the only child in her family, and her parents loved her. Her mother was a very kind paladin who was willing to die for what she believed in and thought nothing of undertaking dangerous quests. <br><br>Her father on the other hand was a very cautious, boring individual. He was a sage who spent time doing research, and reading over tomes and finding out more about the world. Her father was very reclusive as well, lacked interest in much except his books and whatever questions others asked of him. <br><br>Luranita loved her mother but rarely saw her. She spent much of her youth wishing her mother was there, rather than out on some personal quest. But one day, when she turned thirteen years of age, Luranita heard that her mother had fallen in battle. The news hit her like a massive lightning bolt, shocking her totally. She wept, wished her mother was still alive. <br><br>Luranita asked her father if there was a way to bring her mother back. He tried explaining to her that her mother was gone for good, and avoided telling her about necromancy. Necromancy was the work of devils, not something his daughter should learn about, her father thought. Luranita kept begging her father to tell her if there was any possibility, he said he did not know any. She assumed that this meant there must be a way. She spent four years trying to find ways, when she discovered necromancy at seventeen years of age. <br><br>When Luranita turned seventeen, she finally realized death is part of life, and there are many other lessons to learn. She wanted to be like her father, and teach those lessons to people, while exploring necromancy. Thus, she left her father at seventeen and entered the Academy, enlisting in the necromancers' guild.
