Makuto's had a rather, unoriginal life. He was left at the entrance of what most would think is a normal monastery. They of course are all wrong. It was actually a school for those who sought out the discipline of the ninja. Being that the boy was just left at the door to the monastery, a guard promptly decided that it would be best to end the life of the one who dropped them there: a deadly lesson to never litter on someone else's doorstep.

The monastery's master had wanted to raise a new pupil without any notions of the outside world, and he thought what a better chance than with an infant. So, the elderly master raised the boy with harsh discipline, but an over all, kindess of a grandparent. From the moment the boy could walk, he was training. From the moment he could speak, he was reciting tenets of ninjitsu. From the moment he could read and write, he was working on calligraphy and learning about the world from books and scrolls.

As what normally happens with one raised with no experience of a place, but with knowledge of it, the boy sought to get out and travel the world. Well, much to his surprise, the master smiled as he quite literally kicked the boy off the mountain the monastery was on. The boy was quite lucky indeed to survive the fall, and even more so to survive in the harsh forest that surrounded the mountain. The boy learned quickly that to live in the wilderness, you need to think like a beast. And a beast of nature always was in balance with its environment.

The boy learned to never kill more than what you needed, never waste a kill. If you could use it for something, use it for something. The boy learned that the entire world around him was governed by laws that kept an odd semblance of balance in the forest. Until, at least, a horde of bandits started to use the forest for its own devious means. They chopped down the trees, poached the wildlife and the forest was starting to come to an imbalance.

The boy took it upon himself to use what he had learned from his childhood and what he learned with his time in the wild and make the bandits pay for their transgression. He started with simply taking out the outer patrols. That of course caused them to get suspicious, but then he waited, letting them drop their guard like he knew they would. Within time they did, and he snuck in. Using various plants to make poisons, he assaulted the main camp at night, taking out a large part of the group with a decisive strike.

After that, the boy seemed to disappear from any who attempted to pursue him. That is when a man, covered in armor that radiated power. This had to be the leader, no one else would walk the way he did and the wicked looking blade at the man's side glowed darkly. The boy having never seen such a man gulped in fear as he then steeled his resolve. He decided to retreat for now, but to keep a close watch. He would watch for weeks, planning when to attack and how to do it. Whenever a bandit wandered just too far to be in sight, he would make sure that the man was never found.

After a few months of patience, the boy's chance finally came. The bandits' leader was getting fed up of losing men and decided he would see what would happen if he went just too far. To his surprise, nothing happened, or at least he thought as such. When he was making his way back to his camp, the stench of smoke stained the air. The boy had destroyed the camp and all of the supplies that was there with their own explosive powder.

In an outrage, the man turned around only to see a hairy, older teenage looking boy standing there with a large animal fang sticking into his chest. The fang had pierced the leader's heart, but to insure the man was dead, the boy kicked the fang in the rest of the way. The boy then destroyed the man's armor and weapons, restoring balance to the forest, but at the cost of much of its range.

The boy then decided to leave the forest, and search the world. Oddly enough before he got too far, his old master was there, congratulating him on a job well done. He gave the boy a small parcel, his garments, wrapped in paper as the boy accepted the gift and blocked the punch that was aimed for his gut but fell for the strike aimed at his face. Oddly enough, the boy just smiled, bowed to the man, and went on his way.

Description:

Dark, muddy brown hair is styled into a short cut. His eyes are a matching deep, dark brown color as they seem to be endless pools of mud. His lean yet muscled form is covered in a thin, tight garment that covers his body and cuts off mid bicep to show the tanned flesh of his arms. His face is unmarred by any scaring as his eyebrows seemed to be a bit thicker than one would expect for a half-elf. His hands are covered with some hair on the back of them, as are his arms covered in the same coarse coat. Along his jawline is a thick, yet well-trimmed beard that all matches the same color of his hair.
