The start of it.

Miaer's life wasn't one of turmoil and strife. She led a normal life, being a child when she was allowed and growing up to a stalwart defender of her faith. When she was young, she knew from the various religious people within Seringale that she was going to be a follower of Stryth. The tales of how he, Denadlyr and Virgil made the realm they live in, as well as his morals drew her into his faith. She grew up often visiting Seringale, as such always tended to see the good and hardly the bad. One visit though, she saw a criminal fleeing the might of the Justice. And she was in awe at the prowess of the Justice, dispatching the criminal as a guard came to haul them away. She was astounded by that, and sought to study the laws of the towns. The act that the man made to capture the criminal made her want to do the same for the sake of keeping a town she thought to be peaceful safe. She grew up, following Stryth while making her mind up to become an officer of the law. When she came to a decision she had to make. How would she move to be an officer? She prayed about the matter until she felt an inspiration within her. She knew what she must do. She sought out Dunvegan, the guildmaster of the Paladins within Seringale. She told him her story and he welcomed her into the fold and started to instruct her on the path of the Paladin.
