this was my first character back and i wanted to get back into the swing of things and it went okay, i forgot about how bad the vuln of firegiants are and the dirt kick sucks. I think about it now and i should have rolled a slith instead dirt kick isn't better but less chance for vuln uses. Im going to try and do something a little different on my next character because i don't want to keep playing legion and evils and just going through the same cycle so im going to invest a little bit more into the next
Biggest thing here Bladefurry, Make a goal. Make it no pk related. Fully design your character in a way that wins/losses don't matter to your character overall, and then stick with it. You will get it if you do that.
So underatand this, I'm not telling you not to pk. Balan was created with rp in mind. Literrally my only goal with him was to get an rp based custom title. The pk happened, but it wasnt the end game. I once spent two hours rping with ophalina, before fighting her amd killing her. It was the rp that was the goal, the pk was simply icing. Win/loss had nothing to do with whether or not i was having fun.
I feel that if you had stuck on with Minxt longer, you might have made HoE. Given the death rates and the hours you put in within less than a month, you could have easily hit condeath and that could have accounted for something. Despite not being able to compete with the top pkers, there is still some merit for slugging it out as a fire giant warrior. I have to agree with you that playing a fire giant warrior in this meta is not exactly easy but if you are going to start another warrior, as you said, a slith may be better but you will lose some of the benefits of playing a giant.
