Title: the Grand Spectre of Beguilement Gender: Male Level: 50 Class: gnomeillusionist
Background history:
Description:
Standing before you at a height of roughly three and a half feet is what
appears to be a gnome. His diminutive stature makes him appear child-like,
despite his older appearance. He has large, round, blue eyes that dart
around inquisitively. He has a large, bulbous nose that sits above thick
lips that are turned up in one corner in a smirk. His limbs seem frail and
his posture would indicate that he is no fighter.
Sadly not really, sorry. Gnomes have huge hp but I didn’t really play around with gnometron much.
I never actually found any decent (~level 45) neutral mobs to memorize as duplicates. They might be out there but I didn’t find them. I was planning to go for Justice but Lloyied got in as I was ranking up and I didn’t think they needed two neutral illusionist justices at the same time. I had no regrets about that - I was able to interact with Lloyied on other characters and I think he was great.
Llloyied was one of mine, and I intentionally went with a race/class mix that was not optimal, and had lots of fun, but illusionist is one of my favorite classes.
Back in the day you could not memorize, so you grabbed giants from the Ford and ran into town for terror before they disappeared. It was rough and timing was everything.
With gate you can easily get anywhere, Triton Watchmen are a decent choice, gate to newborn, the guys with the water cube, and get you some watchmen.
This is still one of my favorite classes.

I would have loved an illusionist team up.
