A strange tree towers here with its roots pulled out of the ground. The webwork of roots lead up to a thick trunk that branches out to long spindly branches, grasping thinly at the air around it. As you watch, the tree moves and two dark holes open up in its trunk, turning to focus on you. Like an optical illusion, what once was a tree slowly becomes a man. Grooves morphing into wide thin lips, a stunted knob becoming a button nose, and leaves turning into a lush green crown. As the treant's 'body' groans with each movement, the winds whisper through its hair in a gentle melodic chorus.
