Perotin Whittlebark had grown up hearing the promises of the would-be
dragonslayer, and goodness did he love Erion for her ardent declarations of
vengeance. He would watch her train for hours on end, as he was fascinated
by her tenacity. Perotin would spar with her when he was able, though his
family more than disapproved as the young halfling had an astounding knack
with money.
Years passed as they do, relentless and implacable. The dragon remained,
Erion grew older and more scarred, though nothing would dampen her spirit.
Perotin was not there to see it however, as he had left the Mudfall long ago
to bring wealth to his family. The young halfling never forgot the fiery
passion of his oldest friend, though passion is nothing without action.
The ledger must balance, after all.
Description:
An immaculately groomed and well-dressed halfling stands before you, his
chestnut-brown hair done up in an outrageously large pompadour. Thick,
curly mutton chops frame a baby-fat face liberally speckled with freckles.
Heavily-lidded eyes of forest green gaze calculatingly from beneath a
veritable jungle of chestnut eyebrows, calculations interrupted only by the
occasional glance at his surroundings. Elaborate patterns of embroidery
bedeck his fine coat, roses and pipes glint in silver and gold fabric at his
cuffs and collar. At his waist hangs a small wooden abacus, equipped with
chits of ivory which clack as he moves to and fro.
