His nails are long black and brittle- cracked and frayed. He sports a full beard, which is as dark as any soot-ridden miners that has probably never been washed or cut. Dividing lines such as beard/eye brows or beard/head hair are indiscernible. Fortunately, while matted and dandruff-ridden, his beard is free of other life (insects, mold) or excrement (human, animal).
