Rondak was born in the grimforge mountains, and both of his parents were
miners. As he grew up, he spent most of his time within the mines,
navigating around the golems that were set there by the dwarves to guard
against intruders, and learning the ways of a smith like his uncle. One day
a group of duergar invaded the mines with the aid of Drow mercenaries, and
somehow got past the golem guardians. His parents were slain right before
his eyes trying to get him to safety, and he was found later amidst th
bodies of the duergar with no recolection of what had happened. Others that
had been nearby said that he had been like a raging beast, and that he had
torn them apart with his bare hands. With his parents gone, he said his
goodbyes to his clan and set out, soon arriving in Valour...
Description:
This short wide figure seems a mess of red, starting with his stark red hair. Circling his entire face, his beard reaches all the way down to his belt. His body appears very muscular, if strangely proportioned. With skin dark like the stone his people were known for working with, and a strange mark on his forearm. Finally, the most noticable thing about him is his bright eyes. They seem to glow with some inner ferver or maybe insanity?
This was so long in coming. I had an awesome time as Rondak. I accomplished basically everything I wanted to with him. As it is I am glad to see him go, as a race class combo, Dwarf zerker looked so good on paper. It is the worst combo I have ever played. It really taught me so much about patience, and being able to stick it out after getting repeatedly destroyed... lol. I want to finish with talking about all the people Rondak interacted with. Mkatos, you have to top the list. It was great having you as an enemy although it was frustrating at times too. The most honorable fight I could expect always came from the leader of Legion. Euriah, you are great, keep it up do not change a thing. Sorry for the newer knights that I died when I did but you will all be fine :D Here is some info for you all.

Sorry you were so bad with this char...LOL I am just kidding buddy way to bring it to the end. I had good interactions with you as always. Good luck on the next character which I know you will have success with again.
Seriously good show. Great RP standard, despite the difficult race/class/align combo. One of the few who put cabal defense / item retrieval above all, and was willing to eat a death for that... impressive. And great job sticking it out to condeath.
On another note, I've always thought that berserkers (especially dwarf berserkers) need to be played with more attrition. Having regeneration is a HUGE leg up over warriors / rangers. So if you skirmish and catch ticks, you'll end up in a situation where you can exploit that advantage to rage / bodyslam to death when the opportunity arises, even if you are not outdamaging.
Thought you did a good job omn this char... Rp was always there too. anybody that bitched about rondak as leader can go fuck themselves. It's refreshing to see somebody take a cabal lead to con death, while maintaining your rp the entire way... Most players cant even do one of the two things you did so well.
Goo luck on the next.
Thank you for all the supportive comments. It was my goal to stay consistent all the way through this character, while making it to condeath. When I created, Airelyn was Exec so I never expected to get Exec. I had a lot of fun on Rondak, but dwarf zerker is a nightmare, so I am glad to be done with him.
1. It's only logical that after all this time of playing and having more chars than some people can count, it's about time for you to start showing some class.
2. Dwarf zerker or any zerker at all is great for throwing yourself out there, e.g. playing a bit more suicidal than with other classes and it's pretty much the only way to score kills sometimes.
3. Not only dwarf zerker is bad (now I am tempted to roll one, haha), but you also played many fights that I saw on invokation really stupidly, but I guess you were already not giving a fuck if you live or die anyway.
Anyways, good job, you were like a midget Rigwarl in a way.
Well played, man you had balls of steel. You played the part of a chaotic serker to the tee and I gained a ton of respect for you as a player. As a leader people will tend to bitch about just about anything, but as the leader of the knights you carried out their code very well.
Keep the ball rolling and good luck with the next character.
Awesome job on sticking it out to the end. I really liked how after each death you'd scrape yourself up from the floor, wipe the blood from your beard with the back of your hand and go back into the fray! Very characteristic of a dwarf berserker. It was true years ago and it looks like it's true still - dwarf zerker is great on paper but is a brutal combination to play. Good run Nadrin.
Extremely pleased with the character, but far beyond that, is how extremely proud of the progression the player has made. Some of the newer people making fools of themselves on here and invokation lately should really look at his example... He has made so much progress it's epic. Back when he had Nadrin, if you had told me he would end up Condying as Executor with solid RP the whole way through, I never would have believed it. Rough combo. So many people over the years, myself included, have talked about how good it sounds on paper. Never seems to pan out. I honestly cannot remember a great one in the last several years. Super kudos for sticking it out. Can't wait to see what you do with your next project, one that is good on more than just paper! Keep up the good work.
If I've learned one thing from watching Rondak fight, it is that I will never, ever, put a practice into Swing on a barbarian. Easily a third of his deaths that I saw were because he killed a flesh golem with swing and snapped out of rage early.
Well, its been a few days since, I think most of the people who are going to post already have. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the nice things they had to say. It means a lot, When I created Rondak my only goals were RP, and the eventual Condeath no deletion. Amazingly enough there was only ONE time, that I really seriously considered deleting but I had already come so far that I talked myself out of it and redoubled my focus for rp and just trying to lead knights well at that point. I had been known in the past for shying away from fights that I knew I couldnt win etc. I wanted to be absolutly certain that no one thought that this time around. Just think about how many times I threw myself at Mkatos and got slaughtered... lol.
