The History of Srerain

Srerain was born in a small village far from these realms. He was a normal young boy. He spent his early childhood from age of birth to age six doing what all young boys do. Playing with friends and gaining knowledge from his parents. Srerains early years were his most enjoyable. Just before his seventh birth date celebration, on a trip to a neighboring village, Srerain and his family found themselves caught in an ambush from bandits. There were three Knights who came upon this ambush and tried desperately to stave off the attack, but sadly a bandit cut his mothers throat and a misguided arrow from a young knight apprentice caught his father in the heart. As he laid there underneath his family's cart, covered in the blood of his mother dripping from the carriage above, Srerain gained an intimate understanding of good and evil, and of the power that each held. After running off the remaining bandits and recovering from the intense battle, the Knights searched the carnage and found Srerain. Not knowing what to do with a boy so young they took him to a monestary nearby. Showing pity on the young boy the monks took him in and raised them as one of their own. Srerain trained hard each day and after many years and many lessons gained enough knowledge to be called a monk himself. As Srerain mastered control of himself and his learnings his master made the choice to send him to Seringale to further his education and to help maintain the balance of power through both physical and non-physical means.
