Tarek Mahk Dho
Born on the plains of the frozen tundra, I grew up in a home of strict discipline and unwavering competition between my brothers. My father always pitted us against each other to gain the very best out of his sons. From an early age, I learned to defend myself against extreme odds and deal with overwhelming circumstances. No matter the weather my father would train us in the art of war, depicting grand battles in our small cave. My mother would tend to our wounds, but with the same strict behavior demonstrated by our father. My older brother Jindo was chosen by our clan to represent us in the summer battles. At the time I was too young for the competition, but I traveled with him to learn. His first battle went quite smoothly and he defeated a young dwarf without breaking a sweat. His confidence soared and he did not maintain the discipline our father preached. A sinister drow was his next opponent my brother not respecting his opponent was left with a gracious souvenir, a permanent reminder to never take an opponent lightly for now he could no longer use his left hand. My father no longer recognized my brother as his son due to the embarrassment he caused our proud family. I became the chosen son to lead our family out of despair and change our misguided fortune. The very next summer I battled all opponents of the lands emerging victorious. My family was showered with gifts and wealth beyond our dreams. My parents became so engrossed with wealth and notoriety that they began to feature me as an unstoppable beast ready for any battle. I relished the attention and savored the blood I would spill. Countless men tried their hand in battle, and many lost just that. On a cold and stormy night a giant of a man came to my father and asked for his permission to take me to train with him. My father laughed in his face as I watched, within a blink of an eye a massive club the size of two men came crashing down on my father killing him instantly. The rest of my family fled in fear, the behemoth of a man looked at me and said, "You are not scared?" I responded, "A beautiful death is all I seek, you have made my father a happy man, perhaps one day I will be so lucky."

Description:

This massive beast envelopes you in darkness as his rippling frame blocks out any visible light. You feel the muscles in your neck begin to ache as you look to the sky to see the razor sharp horns dripping with blood and hanging flesh. These horns point directly out at you eager to gore his next victim. His eyes are cold and dark, as he snarls saliva drips to floor splashing in all directions. There is a large tuft of hair below his chin braided with the fingers of children. From the top of his enormous head leading down his muscular neck, black hair flows back and forth in the wind. His arms are the size of human and his hands could palm a dwarf with ease. His rippling chest and core are scarred from his many battles. A torn loin cloth barely covers his midsection and his colossal thighs are flexed and ready to charge.

This delete is not a reflection on the game or the players. More so of my inability to get what I want out of it. What I am trying to get out of this game isn't happening , whether it is bad luck, impatience, timing or skill. Too many factors are stacked against me and the level of frustration on each and every character with the exact same experience has never been worth it.

The game isn't supposed to be easy, things aren't supposed to go your way I just can't anymore

With all due respect 53 hours on a week and a half old character is kind of high these days isn't it? Are you sure you didn't just get burnt out? I don't believe in beating a dead horse but from my personal experiences I generally have more fun playing after being productive or by not playing "too much". Because with repetition you can get burnt out pretty easily right, but coming back now and again keeps the creative juices flowing. I was once miserable as a Herald because I could not get enough PK action, but then found myself equally as miserable on the PK-heavy side because I hadn't taken the time to fully develop my character's RP. A healthy balance of both was best for me with time moderation. This is an itch I have always held against the cakes/drinks because I have witnessed many players driven to 50 with little time to develop, regardless if they want to or not, those mid-level encounters can be useful sometimes. I'm not saying you got boosted the same way, I'm just ranting.

My friend and I asked ourselves the same question earlier this week actually. My answer was the art and the writing, good practicing outlets I think, and I can use some of the material for my dnd campaigns or music. And those outlets keep me sane.

And I've seen some very good writing lately, but I urge you to take a step back and observe it all brother. And if your heart is content, so be it, but if you find yourself at it again, give me a nudge, but be warned, I'm pretty certain that I have fallen back into the category of being a newbie again with all these changes.

Strength, first. That comes from your training and your gear. If you dont have the advantage you don't expect to win.
There is no room for fear. If you fear your opponent, he already has the advantage. Fear severely impacts your decision making and makes fighting a humiliating challenge. Replace fear with exhilaration for war and you wont feel exhausted afterwards.
Mindfulness. Any necessary use of the flee command should be considered a sign of how the battle is going to keep going. If he makes mistakes once hes going to do it again. There is not that much rules to pk'ing someone, just follow the procedure and dont fight no-win battles
      [reply to Davairus]
    1. Kind of saw it coming, you did seem burnt out.
And you should have gone full OOC rambling like Davairus once suggested to someone to vent out your suppressed emotions. I really wouldn't have minded it, if it would at least helped you.
Best of luck with your next character!

Yes I did say vent it, if you can put rage into words and drain it out that way instead of just rage deleting thats better, if you two get into a bitter battle of words in game instead of on the forum thats fine. If you can manage to make that your two IC mortals in uproar that would be a good goal. Have the pap but try to at least make it resemble an IC interaction if poss and it isnt even against the rules then. Also taking a break is good to recover from the trauma of getting ass raped, whether you feel you handle it well or not, we all want to improve our skills so we arent being repeatedly traumatized. and we all need those breaks
thats one reason why LOL is such a bad game, because you get smoked in lane and thats traumatizing, and humiliating, and then you have to go back to your lane humbled and some people can't handle that shit and just rage the f out and leave game (which is actually healthy for them) -- you need a detached attitude to play that game without getting worked up

so you want to shit on my character in game with rank advantage and then you post this shit lol yeah i made the right choice.

you claim to have not had any help and you are new to the game 4 months in except you killed xanthak by yourself right?

This stinks of bladefury or beia

I always enjoyed playing with you, or fighting against you. You really do come at the game with some passion. Do whats good for Ozaru, If you don't give up, two things that really changed how I played the game... I don't have to kill you right now and thats okay. If you are seriously playing for the long game, play the long game. I feel you want this crazy awesome record, but you always take silly risks. its counter productive. Personally, I think you like to play like me or bladefurry, like a full time job, all or nothing. just stop taking the deaths so seriously. or run more.
      2. Didn't mean it in a bad way. Just really looked like you need to take a break from this "day and night grinding". I've been there, done that. You can't even get worked up enough to properly OOC rage, you're just burnt man.

Play in moderation or play more than one character and you start to care more about your characters as well.

Don't get me wrong, I love having you around, the more people we have online at all times the better it is xD

Anyway, cheer up, give it a better go when you feel motivated! (And get revenge!)
      3. hey hey now, suck a big toe, i got nothing to do with this.
      [reply to Ozaru]
    3. Honestly beia is better than this guy. He does s
Seem to know what he is doing, but most of it is simply knowing when to run, and how powerful his set is. You literally cannot wear enough slaves to do anything against him pre 50. All you could do is run, and fight when the advantage is yours

I get the feeling Ozaru is the kind of player who doesn't have much fun when he's the biggest dick in the land. When he's got the pimp EQ and is winning the unfair fights it doesn't feel like winning, and when he gets raped by someone ganking him unfairly it doesn't feel like losing. So when going up against someone who has no value to him like Veromos there's nothing to win and no point in trying.
