Tenan Sabu was born to a wealthy family in Ofcol the youngest of three brothers. Rhenquil, the oldest, was an above average swordsman and often left home to seek adventure in faraway places. Chiton, the second son, studied the art of healing in Valour. Tenan was a bright child and got along with other children well. When Tenan was twelve, word reached Ofcol that Chiton had been killed by a band of trolls while tending the wounded on a battlefield southeast of Valour. Against his family's wishes, Rhenquil set out to avenge Chiton. Apparently, Rhenquil was unable to defeat the entire band of trolls on his own because he enlisted the help of Legion in his hunt. After successfully vanquishing the trolls, Rhenquil was slain in an argument over the agreed upon price for Legion's services. At the age of fourteen, Tenan decided that he would study with the clerics in Valour as Chiton had done. That summer, barely a month after leaving home, his parents were killed by mountain bandits while vacationing on Mount Rainer. With nothing left for him in Ofcol, Tenan gave his family estate to a newly-wed friend and returned to Valour to study the art of healing.
Description:
An aura of calmness emanates from this tall, slender man. Deep blue eyes seem indented into his face above a small, rounded nose and a short, neatly-trimmed beard of auburn blends seamlessly into the short, curly mop of hair on his head. At first glance he appears middle-aged, but a closer inspection of his cheek bones suggests he's barely more than a boy. His shoulders are not wide, but are still well-defined. Sun-scorched arms and legs and blistered fingers betray his lack of experience on the road. A silver holy symbol hangs from a vine necklace tied around his neck.
