The beginning was a ripple; Not a strong ripple, but a subtle one. It
was as if the earth had whispered and the echoes of the slightest murmur
caused an infinitesimal tremor in the peace of the calmest of waters. And
then it rippled. And it rippled again. And it rippled again. Soon the
ripples formed waves, and bigger waves upon bigger waves until the mightiest
of waves rolled over with the mightiest crest. This wave's crest is Eternal
Glory. This wave's crest will crash upon the shores of Serin with a force
so great that none can ignore it. This wave has a guide. This wave has a
rider. This wave has a name. This wave is Thak.
Description:
A monolith of granite stands before you. The lithic giant is clearly
alive, and uncannily humanoid in shape. It stands twelve feet tall and
sports a broad frame. Lithic arms and legs seem to ripple with crags that
bulge from every movement of its powerful limbs. A large square-shaped head
sits apon a chimney-like neck, and its pitted, angular features show no
softness, only stern rigidity. Dozens of chips and cracks mar the powerful
frame, but do nothing to diminish its grandeur.
