Hive no more

Time in the hive mind, was just that, timeless. There was no sense of identity, no individuality. It was only the hive. For the longest time, it was all he could remember. Day after day the same thing again and again, until that fateful day. Todsoro did not have a name then, for he was simply another extension of the hive. All new knowledge was supposed to be absorbed into the hive when found, but upon picking up this book he suddenly found himself alone. For the first time in his life he could think on his own, he WAS alone, he realized. Not knowing what it meant he opened the book. Once opened the book took a hold of his mind, and he feverishly read until it was complete. As he read, he did not notice when his skin began to dry out, nor when his heart stopped beating. When he awoke he was standing near another like him. No words were spoken, as he began to learn. Many years passed under the tutelage of his master, years of learning things other then illusion and telepathy. Then one day his master was gone, and he was alone again. In that moment, he found new purpose. He had found power, and he wanted more.

Glowing red eyes seem to see right through you. His skin, dried, and crinkly is the color of pale stone. Tentacles adorn his head seeming like dried stalks of flesh. His arms end in split tentacles that are dried and cracked from movement. A foul odor seems to eminate from around him, the stench of death and decay.

So... I thought an Alhoon would be fun. Then I remembered how much a pain in the ass it was to animate zombies and get ready for combat. Add to that, all the good zombies are either Divine or Slashing, so that's bad. I did Very little PK on him, but what I did I did not like. Couldn't seem to do any damage to anyone unless I caught them with their pants down, and that is not so fun. Funny story, I was going to delete, and I decided to take out all my gold and go gamble with it before I deleted, see what would happen. I put 50k on Black 10 and won a million gold. Afterwords I thought about not deleting, and went and spent about 200k. Decided nah I will play something else so hunted out the first random lowbie Evil. Walked up to him told him it was his lucky day, and handed him the remaining coin before deleting.
