"There are places in Acadia that are so beautiful it appears to be
dreamlike and there are places within that are truly the subject of
nightmares" In Acadia, there is a city where magic is studied rigorously.
It is a beautiful city where miniature skyscrapers are built with magic or
miniature golems.
Amongst the different disciplines of magic, there is one that specialises in
the magic of transportation. These magicians are adept at opening gates to
anywhere in Acadia and there is no place they cannot reach and no one they
cannot find. However, that power is nothing compared to what the Archmagi
of Transportation has. Amongst all the magicians of transportation, only
the highest of all ranks and the most powerful one has the unique ability to
traverse different realms at will.
Many have tried and failed to steal the power of The Gate to Anywhere.
Though the archmagi has staved off many a thief, she was not prepared for an
attack by a highly skilled dark pixie that also seems to have mastered the
abilities to open gates within Acadia. Foreseeing her loss, the archmagi
quickly went to her daughter and transferred The Gate to Anywhere to her.
As Tokotemo was sent to an unknown realm, a rapier penetrated her mother's
chest from behind. No matter how much she struggled or pushed, she could
not reach her dying mother. Tears of sorrow and screams of horror was all
she could muster as the vortex continued to pull her away from danger. Just
as the gate to her world was almost closed, a hand reached in and wringed
the ethereal key out of Tokotemo's newly inherited keyhole in a desperate
attempt to pull her back. Tokotemo screamed in pain as if a part of her was
being savagely cut off and blacked out.
Tokotemo woke up in front of a building named 'Academy of the Sun', still
slightly dazed and confused. Remembering her mother's death, Tokotemo
reached to the keyhole on her chest and tried to return to seek revenge but
nothing happened. Tokotemo screamed in frustration as she realised that the
killer had taken the key and without either the key or the lock, The Gate
would not work.
Tokotemo sat in a corner and pondered for a while as many young adventurers
passed by staring curiously at her. Fortunately, The Gate cannot be forged
and its power can only be transferred from one to another. Also, the key
can be reforged as long as one has enough power and knowledge of the key's
blueprint. Unfortunately though, the new bearer of The Gate has neither
power nor knowledge to reforge the key. The little pixie decided that she
would have to gain power in order to fulfill the mission her mother had given
her and the only way was to step into the academy.
Description:
A tiny humanoid as big as a giant's thumb floats and glides about in the
air freely. What looks to be a trail of flames tailing her is actually her
waist-length hair. Her beauty rivals that of even half-elves' with
curly long eyelashes, almond shaped eyes and a tiny pointed nose. She even
seems to have a little makeup on to enhance her natural beauty - thin eye
shadows beneath her eyes and pink lip gloss over her slightly pouty lips.
Her tiny body is like a miniature elf's - lean and slender. Though
seemingly normal like any other pixie's body would be, this one has a rather
strange accessory on her chest. On closer inspection, you realise that it
is not so much an accessory but rather a minuscule metallic keyhole located
below her thin neck and above her tiny breasts.
