Divine Inspiration
Trovo hails from a long line of Jotun warriors that surround the Redhorne Mountain. Evil was a constant for him. His father and other kin were easy to anger, therefore, Trovo was beaten by them quite often. He didnt mind, though, for he knew that was their nature and instead of turning to hate, as many are wont to do, he turned to the heavens for guidance. In a vision, he saw a figure bathed in the light of the rising sun, extending a hand in his direction. He took the hand and was elevated into the sky, overlooking all of Serin. During his celestial tour of the world, a sense of purpose was instilled in him and divine inspiration overtook him. With that, he made his way out of the mountains to complete his task.

Description:

Ashen skin stretches taut over this gigantic humanoids muscular frame. Pure white crystals jut out through open parts of the armor across his body, radiating brilliant prismatic rays from whatever light reaches his form. Deep, jagged scars are easily seen beyond the display. A perpetually furrowed brow resides over his hawkish, piercing glare, and his nose appears to be broken in a few different places. His lips remain pressed together, arching downard on either side in a disapproving scowl. He stands tall and straight with shoulders thrown back and chest puffed out in defiance of any foe that might attempt to extinguish his Light.

Hi. Me again. Sorry to all the Knights. I couldn't stick it out. I've kinda just...become disinterested in AR as of late. But I stepped down before deleting, so there's that. I deleted my lowbie too, for the same reason. That being said, I'm probably not done for good with AR. I'll probably be back.

Damn, so sad to see this. I really enjoyed Trovo. Great char Forgotten and awesome dedication >400hrs on a knight is awesome and great cabal representation.

Hope you think of a char inspiring and exciting for you sooner rather than later! Until then take care and don’t be a stranger!

Wow. Trovo was always a good fight. Unfortunately I didn't have any goodies so weren't really ever allies but that's ok.

Mr. Forgotten, you had a solid character here. I respected you for multiple reasons. Had lots of fun in the group battles with Eurayel. You'd be ready to bring it no matter if you were decked or re-equipping. With all these pally, looks like I need to roll another DK.
Trovo was a strong presence when active, and seemed to lead the very Knights well...and that shows seeing how there is 3 archons that have been by your side for a long time now. You are a great part of this community and I hope you roll another char soon.
                    [reply to Xenyar]
                  1. You were a great Executor. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as your squire, mostly because it didn't last long! That hunting party was probably the most epic I've been a part of.

But more than that you were a solid leader. I always knew you were going to be there to back me up and you inspired me to keep going at it. I appreciated the support and promotions. Every interaction was a positive one.

Great work Mr. Forgotten and I hope you come back soon.
                    I'll add an HoE vote.

Word of advice for anyone making a Jotun: Don't!

That piercing vuln is fuckin nuts. Sure, wielding oversized weapons with one hand is great, and it's something I'm a natural at ;) , but having someone stab you and seeing MANGLES or MASSACRES through sanc is pretty freaky. Gonna reiterate this; the vuln is crazy.

I've made dwarves before, and at least they have a huge con to make up for their vuln. I gotta say the piercing vuln is way worse because of the sheer amount of available weapons that are high in average damage. I'd also go so far as to say that the piercing vuln is AT LEAST as bad as the water vuln. I don't know how you can't attest to this having had several bouts with me while using a whipping tail of a manticore while all i had available to me was a water staff.

I'm going to voice my disapproval for HoE. The PKing stats for this character mean that the RP would have to be exceptional to belong in the HoE, and I did not see that. No offense to Mr. Forgotten, but Trovo got too involved on the log boards and it detracted from his character. Also, the number and scale of promotions in the Knights under Trovo was crazy. I got Archon as Jorgrun after only one kill and SURVIVING a fight with (not killing) Eurayel. That left a bad taste in my mouth, it did not feel like I had truly earned it after such a mediocre amount of effort.

Putting that aside, Trovo's RP wasn't stellar as I said earlier. Rhoa does a better job in that department, and even among paladin Executors I have known better ones.

I've made plenty of decisions I regret while leading the Knights. Inducting ungrateful players is definitely up there on the list. Idk how many people I inducted that immediately went inactive. Definitely going to have a more rigorous induction plan if I become a leader again when I can put more time and effort into this game. BW, you're entitled to your opinion, but if you want any kind of satisfaction from a character, you don't have to have amazing RP or be an awesome PK'er, you need to be interested in what you make and not immediately go inactive once you hit 50. I saw Jorgrun like 4 times...

Eurayel was a crazy opponent and anyone that could survive an attack from her deserved recognition. I have to admit that my decision was somewhat OOC as well because of Jorgrun's duel with Kaa (my warlord). So, you can have a bad taste in your mouth or however you want to feel, but I was appointed as the Executor because the patron immortal saw enough of my rp and willingness to take risks that he believed Trovo embodied the Virtues.

I'm grateful for all the positive interactions I had with this character.

                        One more thing.

The logboards are supposed to be a place where you're not interacting in-character. It's supposed to be an objective view of something that happened in-game. They are not RP enforced and I believe if you want to have rp interactions you should do it in-game.

Ok so I was bored and going over my Kaa's record. I must be thinking of a different time I saw Jorgrun fighting. Either way, a fight with Eurayel typically ended up in death, and if you could survive that, recognition is still due.

you played kaa AND trovo? you fucking player you. congrats tho, I liked Trovo. I felt he was a good leader, in a time that Knight's needed one. it was fun fighting beside you the once or twice time i did as yngfre, but those piercing vulns are tough to deal with, i only made one or two jotuns and i did not do so well with them.

with that being said, leadership roles can be what you want them to be in a cabal. all i can say is from my own experiences with blyx, sarsah, ona, and I will include jorunn even though I only made 4th rank in Justice, but I felt like a mentor to some. none of them were played right, i have huge regrets and it could have been implemented better.

what im trying to say is this game is what you make out of it, and sometimes that glimmer of hope is caught by others, and that is a beautiful thing in and of itself to genuinely grasp and send off to flight, originally.

worlds can be created here, or distant memories can rest on the shore short of what you thought was. just remember, the field mouse is fast, but the owl sees at night.

and i think its about time for another thief to emerge.

                    3. Sir Trovo, it was an honor to be an Archon under your command. I will miss you greatly! I personally didn't have any bad experiences with you, and would gladly be under your command again!
Ceridwel's blessings to you! Come back soon please!

                      1. Durned right meself was yer nemesis an’ suren yerself was me own. Ye were tough ter fight, an’ hard ter catch. Fer a while there when it was jes meself/Ungril/Thodar in Legion, afore Zakzaer joined, meself an yerself an Yngfre were all synced up so’s meself was knowing when meself arrived meself would be findin yerselfs already here. Had ourselfs a lotta fun, eh? Ain’t never gonner forget ragin’ on ye right after meself hit 50. One o’ the quickest deaths meself’s ever had. Too bad ter see ye go, but understandin where yer comin from. Yer ma’s still a bunny though. Bwahahahaha!

Sir Trovo's name has been forever etched into the Knight's War Memorial in Valour. May his name inspire future Knights to uphold the Virtues even half as well.
                          1. It's been a while since an Executor has received that honor.
