A Spider's Delight
"Usstan xun naut inbal ulu joros ka dos ja'hai, Usstan inbal jal'yur deemed ol ji.." Said, the Priestess of Lolth. Melsharaoth nodded as the ritual had started to begin. In the next few moments, all the memories she had ever had flashed; seemed to dwindle and hang on to the very threads of existence... The first memories that had came to Melsharaoth in that moment were of her youth. She was born within the Underdark, and a daughter to the clan of Melshara. Her father a Drow ranger of the wilds, and her mother the well known Priestess of Shadow. Her mother was also known as the clan Matron of the Melshara. In an instant her thoughts shifted, and she found herself a small child. Playing with animals that her father had brought back from his many different exploits. She was petting the many different animals and came across a giant spider. She instantly had a connection with the creature, and a relationship was grown quickly between the two. It's almost as if she was able to control the spider, or the thought process of the two was so similar that it appeared as such. Then again, her thoughts shifted forward to the most cherished memory of her childhood. The memory that her spider had slain all the other animals and sucked their corpses dry of any blood. She slowly remembers viewing the bloodied den of creatures, and her spider staring back at her with those black eyes. A grin came across the face of the spider and her at the same time.. Many years flashed forward, and her parents long since gone, she was only in the company of her giant spider. They lived within a cave deep within the underdark. Melsharaoth had matured into a very wealthy young Drow, and the clan had recognized her as the Matron. Destined for great things, one night the spider that had been at her side began to speak to her mind. It lead her to a far off temple outside of the Underdark. Upon arriving at this temple, the spider suddenly stopped at the entrance. It moved to the side as it fell to the ground and began to wither away. As Melsharaoth walked up to the dark entrance that she had been lead to, she turned to her spider companion and reached out a hand, a blue aura surrounded the spider and began to crawl up into the hand of Melsharaoth. It's as if the very spirit of the spider was taken in that very moment. She dropped her hand as the blue aura began to fade and entered the temple.. In a moments time, her thoughts shifted again, pain had surged through her entire body. With blood-filled eyes, she looked around and realized, she was in the moment. Arachnic markings and torches lit the temple room as the shadows of the priestesses were cast upon the walls. She was in the center of the room, hanging from one strand of a thick web. This webbing was thick and covered her body, from her feet to her shoulders. She looked down before her and saw a slender figure, the woman was Drow, and had a very familiar voice. The webbings source was this woman's finger, as Melsharaoth took note of the pain, excitement, the rush if you will of the moment that had finally captured her. The last thing she saw was her mother, as her eyes closed she saw her mother stood on a pedestal dedicated to Lolth. She heard the hissing of spiders and the howl of the wind. With her eyes closed she felt her body fully enveloped in the webbing. The last feeling she had before she slipped into darkness, was the beat of her heart, it seemed to last for eternity. She slowly came to as she felt something ripping at the webbing from beneath her. All of a sudden, the webbing had busted! She fell to the ground below and landed safely. As she began to stand, she noticed that she was taller. Not only that she was taller, but that she had been given the gift that all Drow dream of. She stood on eight legs, and with her newfound body she saw much more clearly. The familiar voice spoke to her in her native tongue.. It told her, "You were in no position to have a choice, it was deemed so by the Goddess Lolth. Go now with your gift, and do not disappoint our Mother. You've been chosen to eradicate them.. You've been given the gift of the Drider. Use this gift to claim fame to your name and show them the power of Lolth.. Your name is no longer Melsharaoth, you are one of Lolth now. Your name is Valsharess Orbben.. and even the undead, now know your name."

Description:

This creature in front of you appears to be of Drow-kin, but upon further inspection, you notice that there is more to her than just racial heritage. Obsidian colored skin stretches across an athletic physique that accentuates the glowing tattoos of an ancient, spydric nature. Bright purple eyes reveal a vibrant nature, immersed in a vast pool of absolute darkness. The gigantic braid of hair that falls to the small of her back is colored platinum white. Written across the lower, left quadrant of her abdomen are some letters that read as "Ussta quortek ulu Lloth". It looks as if this Drow-kin was ripped in half at the waistline and sewn to the lower torso of a spider. The eight legs of this creature are completely covered with tiny sensory hairs. The underneath of her spydric abdomen has a satin-black color with a red "hourglass" mark in the middle. You notice that some spots on the creature before you are encased in spidersilk. Within the mouth of this being is the tongue of the wicked that spreads the web of deceit upon the land of Serin. She has a horrific aura about her.
