Verac Abaeldric has lead a mostly uninteresting life. From a young age
he spent almost all of his time in libraries with his nose buried in books
and ancient tomes. It wasn't until fairly recently that Verac's elders gave
him the okay to move forward on his journey after "mastering" the school of
illusion. More correctly, Verac was encouraged to leave after an incident
involving setting fire to a particular priceless artifact. Needless to say
Verac was unable to gain full mastery over the arcane and was unable to
learn more about the elements as is traditional amongst mages. In order to
go home Verac must replace the artifact he destroyed, and without the full
training of his people. The item in particular is a scroll with specific
instructions on how to obtain a minor form of invulnerability. He has been
told that the journey is incredibly dangerous and he will encounter others
who are very unlike him. After wandering for many years Verac happened upon
the realm of Serin, where he found many artifacts that can grant minor
invulnerability. Most notable of which is a common spell that many magic
users use on a regular basis called "sanctuary". Realizing that he had been
tricked, Verac hopes to prove his worthiness to be welcomed back into his
home.
Description:
A huge being towers before you. Almond shaped emerald green eyes hide
behind a full head of white hair. Expensive looking jewelry adorns his
neck, hands, fingers, and ears. The diamonds on his rings look dull and
don't appear to catch the sunlight for some reason. The pointy ears on his
head betray his Elven heritage, although the man's height and muscles would
indicate the bloodline of a much hardier race. He stands above his average
brethren at possibly seven hands high. Further inspection reveals several
other discrepancies in his appearance. One of his hands appears to have
extra fingers and there are times that his mouth continues to move after he
is done speaking.
